2016 NFL Draft Recap/New Depth Charts: AFC PLAYOFF HOPEFULS

Instead of doing pointless "draft grades" I just plugged in key draft picks to see how they fit on their new team

Here is my color code:

Has a good chance to be a starter by next season

AFC PLAYOFF HOPEFULS
Vegas predicts these teams will be fighting for a playoff spot late in the year.

Vegas odds project them to win 8.5-7.5 games

RG: AJ Cann-Young 2015 3rd RD
RB:
TJ Yeldon-Young/2015 2nd RD
Chris IvoryAverage/New

NEEDS:
Multiple LB's: WLB Telvin Smith has a lot of promise. Posluszny was the best player on the roster from 2011-2013 but he's past his prime, Skuta is better served as a pass rush specialist. A young MLB and SLB are needed.
CB: Amukamara and House are good but Gus Bradley will want top add another physical press corner in the draft.
Pass Rusher:  With the #3 pick last year they drafted Dante Fowler. He is expected to be the pass rusher of the future but there's no guarantees.
O-Line Depth:  They signed Beachum, but the jury is still out on the #2 pick in the 2013 draft, Luke Joeckel. Maybe it's time to move him to RT. They are considering moving Linder to Center if they don't draft one. Expect another interior lineman to be selected in the later rounds.

DeAndre Washington

NEEDS:
Safety: The Raiders were smart to sign Nelson, but they need another starter.
DT:  Mack may be the best pass rusher in the league, but he needs more help from the interior D-Line in getting to the opposing QB. They should try to get a 3 tech in order to move Williams back to NT.
MLB Upgrade
Power RB:  Murray was solid as the feature back but they should add a power back somewhere in rounds 4-6
Big WR: Cooper and Crabtree are great but both are under 6-1.

Ronnie Stanley
RB:
Buck Allen-Young/2105 4th RD
Justin Forsett-Average
Kenneth Dixon

NEEDS:
CB:  In a division with AJ Green and Antonio Brown having a good #1 CB is vital. Smith and Webb are solid but they could use a true shutdown corner. This would allow them to move Webb to slot corner.
Pass Rusher: Suggs and Dumervil can still get to the QB but both are over 30 and Suggs is coming off of a major injury. They need to add a young pass rusher to the mix.
D-Line: Williams is a beast in the middle. They have some young talents in Jernigan and Davis but if they keep the #6 pick there is a good chance that either Joey Bosa or DeForest Buckner will slip to them.
O-Line Depth: Monroe has a history of injury issues and Urschel is unproven. Ronnie Stanley could be an intriguing option at #6.

NEEDS:
DT:  JJ Watt faces double and sometimes triple teams on every play because no one else on the line scares an offense. Wilfork is still a solid nose tackle, but he can only play limited snaps. They need to draft a DT very early
#2 WR: Hopkins is an emerging star, however he's the only consistent threat .
TE:  See above
C/G Depth: The young interior of the line needs some competition, expect a mid round pick to be used to address this.

Karlos Williams-Young/2015 5th RD

NEEDS:
Edge Pass Rusher: Mario Williams was unhappy with Ryan and left for Miami this off season. Jerry Hughes had a down year in 2015 and they have no other proven pass rushers.
ILB:  They have some solid players but no true play maker.
Big WR: Watkins is a legit #1 option when healthy but they still need a big red zone threat. Woods would be better as a #3 option.
RT: Neither Henderson nor Kouandjio has proven to be an elite RT
QB:  Is Tyrod Taylor the answer?

NEEDS:
QB:  Fitzpatrick was good last year but he is still unsigned and is not the long tern answer. They need a young signal caller.
Pass Rusher:  If the Jets can generate pressure from the outside then they have a chance to be the best defense in the NFL.
O-Line:  They need a major upgrade at RT and newly acquired LT Ryan Clady has a had a history of injury problems. Mangold is no longer a stud and Winters is average.
ILB:  There is always a need LB's that can cover TE's with Rob Gronkowski, Charles Clay and Jordan Cameron in the same division.

NEEDS:
O-Line:  Injuries, inconsistency and not having anytime to gel as a unit made the Chargers O-Line the worst in the NFL last year.
Safety:  They must replace Eric Weddle
D-Line:  Mebane is a solid NT, but they may want a yung guy to groom for the future. Philon is an unproven starter at DE. John Pagano sure would love to add a 5 tech like DeForest Buckner early in the draft,
