NFL 2nd and 3rd MOCK

With the first round in the books I will now try to attempt to project the 2nd and 3rd round.  This should be very interesting and very fun!!!

SECOND ROUND

33. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS-TANK CARRADINE-PR/LDE-FSU
Great value here.  The Jags need a pass rusher.  They need a QB too, but next year's class is better.  Teddy Bridgewater or Johnny football in the top 5 of the 2014 draft

34. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS-JESSE WILLIAMS-DT/NT-BAMA
Filled need at safety in the first now they need to fill their other biggest need at nose tackle

35. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES-GENO SMITH-QB-WEST VIRGINIA
Easy choice as Michael Vick's eventual replacement

36. DETROIT LIONS-MANELIK WATSON-OT/RT-FSU
Need to protect QB, good value here

37. CINCINNATI BENGALS-ARTHUR BROWN-ILB/WLB-KANSAS ST
Incredible steal here

38. ARIZONA CARDINALS-MATT BARKLEY-QB-USC
Can be groomed under fellow USC alum Carson Palmer

39. NEW YORK JETS-RYAN NASSIB-QB-SYRACUSE
Some real QB competition for Mark Sanchez, sorry Tebow and McIleroy

40. TENNESSEE TITANS-JAMAR TAYLOR-CB-BOISE
Fills need for at corner

41. BUFFALO BILLS-ROBERT WOODS-WR-USC
New QB EL Manual needs a solid target

42. OAKLAND RAIDERS (via trade with MIA last night)-MARGUS HUNT-PR/DE-SMU
Al Davis would be proud to get the combine freak

43. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS-ZACH ERTZ-TE-STANFORD
The Bucs need to get Josh Freeman a pass catcher underneath

44. CAROLINA PANTHERS-EDDIE LACY-RB-BAMA
This would make Cam Newton a very happy man

45. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS-LARRY WARFORD-G-UK
DJ Fluker isn't enough, they need help on the inside of the O-Line too

46. BUFFALO BILLS (via trade with SL last night)-MANTI TE'O-ILB-NOTRE DAME
The Bills need a MLB and Te'o has slipped far enough

47. DALLAS COWBOYS-JONATHAN CYPRIEN-S-FIU
Fills need, plus good value

48. PITTSBURGH STEELERS-GAVIN ESCOBAR-TE-SAN DIEGO ST
Need a big target for Big Ben

49. NEW YORK GIANTS-KEVIN MINTER-ILB-LSU
Fills their biggest need and is the best player available

50. CHICAGO BEARS-JOHN BOSTIC ILB-FLORIDA
Slight reach, but they need a MLB

51. WASHINGTON REDSKINS-JONATHAN BANKS-CB-MISSISSIPPI ST
A big corner to guard  Dez Bryant and Hakeem Nicks twice a year

52. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (via trade with MIN last night)-BIDI WREH WILSON-CB-UCONN
Good corner with New England roots

53. CINCINNATI BENGALS-JONATHAN FRANKLIN-RB-UCLA
A speed back to compliment the law firm Ben Jarvis Green-Ellis

 54. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS (projected trade w/MIA)-JOHNATHAN HANKINS-DT-OHIO ST
I am assuming that KC and MIA make the Branden Albert trade.  The Chiefs addressed the O-Line with Eric Fisher, now they need help in the trenches on the other side of the ball

55. GREEN BAY PACKERS-GIO BERNARD-RB-UNC
They need a RB in the worst way

56. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS-TERRON ARMSTEAD-OT-ARKANSAS PINE BLUFF
Seattle has very limited needs, so they gamble on the raw combine freak

57. HOUSTON TEXANS-JOHN JENKINS-DT/NT-GEORGIA
Fills big need at nose tackle in Houston's 3-4

58. DENVER BRONCOS-DARIUS SLAY-CB-MISSISSIPPI ST
Need a corner after addressing the D-Line in the first round

59. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS-JUSTIN HUNTER-WR-TENNESSEE
Need a wideout to stretch the field

60. ATLANTA FALCONS-SAM MONTGOMERY-PR/DE-LSU
Got a stud corner in the first, now they must get a pass rusher

61. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS-TYRANN MATHIAU-CB/KR-LSU
A team with as much talent as San Fran can afford to take the risk

62. BALTIMORE RAVENS-KEENAN ALLEN-WR-CAL
Big underneath WR to compliment deep threats TSmitty and dancing star Jacoby Jones

THIRD ROUND

MY FINAL MOCK DRAFT

 1. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS-ERIC FISHER-OT/LT-CENTRAL MICHIGAN
It is either going to be Eric Fisher or Luke Joeckel  protecting Alex Smith's blind side this year.  Fisher is a little more athletic and physical and will provide good holes for Jamal Charles and the KC running game
Picks in first 3 rounds: 1, 63, 96
NEEDS: LT, 3-4 ILB, 3-4 DE

2. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (Trade up with JAX for picks #11, #76 and a 2nd rounder next year)-LUKE JOECKEL-OT/LT-TEXAS A&M
The Chargers need a left tackle to protect Phillip Rivers and the only way they can do this is if they trade up. Both teams have new GM's: Jags (David Caldwell) and Chargers (Tom Telesco) and they went to both high school and college together.  Could they pull off the biggest trade of the draft in their first seasons?  I sure hope so.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 11, 45, 76
NEEDS:  WR, RT, RG, NT, DB Depth

3. OAKLAND RAIDERS-SHARIFF FLOYD-DT-FLORIDA
Like Jacksonville, Oakland wants to trade down but may find it hard to find someone to bite on the trade bait.  Floyd will be a slam dunk of a pick here.  He has drawn comparisons to both Warren Sapp and JJ Watt.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 3, 66
NEEDS: QB, PR, DT, pretty much everything other than a LT

4. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES-LANE JOHNSON-OT/LT-OKLAHOMA
The Eagles can go variety of ways here:  Floyd, Dion Jordan, Geno Smith and Johnson and of course trading down.  Johnson would be a great fit in for new coach Chip Kelly's uptempo offense.  Kelly needs good O-Line play for his offense to work in the pros
Picks in first 3 rounds: 4, 35, 67
NEEDS:  OT, CB, SS, LB depth, C, QB

5. DETROIT LIONS-ZIGGY ANSAH-PR/DE-BYU
The Lions have major needs at pass rusher, corner and offensive tackle.  If Fisher slips past Philly, the Lions will grab him.  If he's gone, I think they go with Ansah over taking reaching on Lane Johnson
Picks in first 3 rounds: 5, 36, 65
NEEDS:  OT, PR, CB, #2 WR, SS, LB depth

6. CLEVELAND BROWNS-DION JORDAN-PR/OLB-OREGON
The Browns need a pass rusher more than they need a compliment corner.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 6, 68
NEEDS: PR, #2CB, TE, RG, DE

7. ARIZONA CARDINALS-JONATHAN COOPER-G-UNC
The Cards need help on the O-Line in the worst way.  They acquired Carson Palmer to be the signal caller for this year at least.  WR Larry Fitzgerald is due for a bounce back year if they can keep Palmer healthy.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 7, 38, 69
NEEDS: LT, RG, TE, DB depth

 8. BUFFALO BILLS-RYAN NASSIB-QB-SYRACUSE
Last year the Dolphins 'reached' on QB Ryan Tannehill and now they feel they have their QB of the future.  If you like a QB, you have to reach for him.  Nassib's college coach, Doug Marone is now the head coach of the Bills.  It makes some sense I guess.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 8, 41, 71
NEEDS: OT, #2/3 WR, LG, RT, OLB

9. NEW YORK JETS-BARKEVIOUS MINGO-PR/OLB-LSU
The Jets need pass rusher.  Mingo's size and skill sets fits perfect as a 3-4 OLB.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 9, 13, 39, 72
NEEDS: QB, PR, #1 WR, CB

10. ST. LOUIS RAMS (Trade up with TN for #16 and #78)-TAVON AUSTIN-WR-WEST VIRGINIA
The Rams need a play maker to help struggling young QB Sam Bradford.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 16, 22, 46, 78
NEEDS: WR, S, LG, OLB

11. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (Trade down with SD)-XAVIER RHODES-CB
As a fan I would love this scenario.  The Jags trade down and get a big physical corner that will remind new head coach Gus Bradley of his former Seattle corner Brandon Browner.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 2. 33, 64
NEEDS: PR, QB, DT, CB, SS, pretty much everything except a RB and LT

12 MIAMI DOLPHINS-DEE MILLINER-CB-BAMA
They Dolphins got WR Mike Wallace in free agency but they lost CB Sean Smith.  The Dolphins will be very happy if Milliner slips to them.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 12, 42, 54, 77, 82
NEEDS:  LT (if they don't make Albert trade), CB, #2 PR, LB depth

13. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (Trade up with NYJ for picks #31, #34, #157 and #237)-STAR LOTULELEI-DT/NT-UTAH

San Francisco trades up to get the nose tackle they need.  Lotulelei was a projected top 5 pick before questions about a heart condition arose at the combine.  The 49 can afford to take the risk with 13 total picks.  The reward could be a CHAMPIONSHIP.  The Jets have need EVERYWHERE so trading down makes perfect sense for them.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 31, 34, 61, 74, 93
NEEDS:  NT, SS, PR Depth, backup TE

14. CAROLINA PANTHERS-SHELDON RICHARDSON-DT-MIZZOU
I wouldn't be surprised if they took WR DeAndre Hopkins to replace Steve Smith eventually.  But now I think they play it safe and take the best DT on the board.  They need difference makers on defense.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 14, 44
NEEDS: DT, Young WR, PR, G/RT, CB, RB

15. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS-JARVIS JONES-PR/OLB-GEORGIA
Top pass rusher.  Perfect fit for the Saints new 3-4 scheme under Rob "It took me longer than I thought it would to get a new job" Ryan
Picks in first 3 rounds: 15, 75
NEEDS: PR, Press CB, LT, Deep threat WR, LB Depth

16. TENNESSEE TITANS (Trade down with SL)-CHANCE WARMACK-G-BAMA
Even with the key free agent signing of guard Andy Levitre, the Titans need help on the O-Line if they are going to pound the rock with speedster Chris Johnson and power back Shonn Greene.  Warmack would be a slam dunk here.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 20,52, 82
NEEDS:  G, WR, CB, PR/DE, SS, MLB

17. PITTSBURGH STEELERS-TYLER EIFERT-TE-NOTRE DAME
A perfect big target to compliment Antonio Brown and ease the pain of losing Mike Wallace.  TE Heath Miller is coming off of a major knee injury.
Picks in first round: 17, 48, 79
NEEDS: PR/OLB, TE, WR, young NT, DB depth

18. DALLAS COWBOYS-SYLVESTER WILLIAMS-DT-UNC
Many people think they will take s Kenny Vaccaro.  But like Carolina I think they play it safe and take a DT that would fit perfect in new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin's Tampa 2 under scheme
Picks in first 3 rounds: 18, 47, 80
NEEDS: DE or NT, RT/G, #2/3 WR

19. NEW YORK GIANTS-TNAK CARRADINE-PR/DE-FSU
LB is by far their biggest need but Carradine is too good to pass up. The Giants will hope Alec Ogletree, Arthur Brown, Manti Te'o or Kevin Minter is available in the 2nd round
Picks in first 3 rounds: 19, 49, 81
NEEDS: LB, RT/G, power RB, CB

20. CHICAGO BEARS-DESMOND TRUFANT-CB-WASHINGTON
They have the best CB duo in the league with Charles Tillman and Tim Jennings.  But Tillman is 32 and Trufant is too goo to pass up here.  A nickel corner is a need in a division with Aaron Rodgers and Matthew Stafford.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 20, 50
NEEDS: LB (both middle and outside), TE, G/C, WR depth

21. CINCINNATI BENGALS-DJ FLUKER-OT/RT-BAMA
They will be tempted to take a corner or safety Kenny Vaccaro, but Fluker is too good to pass up here and allows them to let go of free agent RT Andre Smith
Picks in first 3 rounds: 21, 37, 53, 84
NEEDS:  RT, OLB, SS

22. ST. LOUIS RAMS-KENNY VACCARO-S-TEXAS
The Rams will be very happy if Vaccao gets past Dallas and Cincinnati.  Vaccaro would be the final piece in a defensive backfield that already includes Cortland Finnegan and Janorris Jenkins
Picks in first 3 rounds: 16, 22, 46, 78
NEEDS: WR, S, LG, OLB

23. MINNESOTA VIKINGS-DJ HAYDEN-CB-HOUSTON
In a division where the Vikings will play WR's Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall and Jordy Nelson twice a year, having a lock down corner is a must.  Hayden has seen his stock go way up after nearly dying in November.  Some have him rated higher than Rhodes and Milliner.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 23, 25, 52, 83
NEEDS: DT, CB, MLB, #3 WR, G

24. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS-DATONE JONES-DE/DT/5T
The Colts addressed the offense in last year's draft.  They will go defense heavy this year.  Jones is a perfect 5 technique in coach Chuck Pagano's 3-4 scheme.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 24, 86
NEEDS: 3-4 DE, PR/OLB, CB, ILB, G/C

25. MINNESOTA VIKINGS-MANTI TE'O-MLB-NOTRE DAME
Te'o is s a solid pick here and is a good fit as a Tampa 2 Mike linebacker.  Alec Ogletree would be a good fit as well.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 23, 25, 52, 83
NEEDS: DT, CB, MLB, #3 WR, G

26. GREEN BAY PACKERS-EDDIE LACY-RB-BAMA
They need a RB and Eddie Lacy is BY FAR the best one out there, just ask Mr. Te'o
Picks in first 3 rounds: 28, 55, 88
NEEDS: RB, 3-4 DE, TE, DB Depth

27. HOUSTON TEXANS-CORDELLE PATTERSON-WR-TENNESSEE
The Texans have needed a compliment WR to Andre Johnson for years.  Patterson is still raw but learning under Johnson may turn him into the next Demaryius Thomas
Picks in first 3 rounds: 27, 57, 89, 95
NEEDS:  #2 WR, RT/G, NT, #3 CB

28. DENVER BRONCOS-JAMAR TAYLOR-CB-BOISE
Good corner that they hope can eventually repace the legendary Champ Bailey.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 28, 58, 90
NEEDS:  DE, young CB, RB

29. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS-DEANDRE HOPKINS-WR-CLEMSON
With the top corners gone the Patriots get the top WR on the board.  Hopkins is a play maker that can both stretch the field and do work on underneath rounds.  He has the best hands in the draft.  The Patriots prove that the rich just get richer.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 29, 59, 91
NEEDS:  CB, DT, WR

30. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (Trade up with ATL for #35 and 2014 1st round pick)-GENO SMITH-QB-WEST VIRGINIA
If Smith slips, someone will trade up back into the first to get him. The Eagles trade up just ahead of the Jets and Jaguars to get their guy.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 4, 35, 67
NEEDS:  OT, CB, SS, LB depth, C, QB

31. NEW YORK JETS (Trade down with SF)-EJ MANUAL-QB-FSU
The Jets trade down and still get the QB they desire

32. BALTIMORE RAVENS-MATT ELAM-SS-FLORIDA
They take the hard hitting strong safety out of Florida to help replace the losses of Ed Reed and Bernard Pollard

Picks in first 3 rounds: 32, 62, 94
NEEDS:  SS, ILB, Slot WR

SECOND ROUND

Tommy
33. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS-BJOERN WERNER-PR/LDE-FSU
Great value here.  The Jags need a pass rusher

34. NEW YORK JETS (Trade down with SF)-MANELIK WATSON-OT/RT
Fills a big need at OT

30. ATLANTA FALCONS (Trad down with PHL)-MARGUS HUNT -PR/LDE
The Falcons need a pass rusher and a corner with the losses of John Abraham and Brent Grimes.  Hunt is a 6-8/277 freak of nature
Picks in first 3 rounds: 30, 60, 92
NEEDS:  CB, DE, young TE, C/G, LB Depth

36. DETROIT LIONS-TERRON ARMSTEAD-OT/LT-ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF
Need to protect QB, Armstead was the combine's other freak of nature.

37. CINCINNATI BENGALS-ALEC OGLETREE-ILB/WLB-GEORGIA
Incredible steal here

38. ARIZONA CARDINALS-MATT BARKLEY-QB-USC
Can be groomed under fellow USC alum Carson Palmer

39. NEW YORK JETS-JUSTIN PUGH-G/T-SYRACUSE
Need to protect the new QB and Pugh has no history of cause the famous "BUTT FUMBLE"

40. TENNESSEE TITANS-JONATHAN BANKS-CB-MISSISSIPPI ST
Fills need for a big corner

41. BUFFALO BILLS-ROBERT WOODS-WR-USC
New QB Ryan Nassib needs a solid taget

42. MIAMI DOLPHINS-ZACH ERTZ-TE-STANFORD
Time to build that offense with new starters at WR-Mike Wallace, RB-Lamar Miller and at TE with Ertz and Dustin Keller

43. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS-JONATHAN CYPRIEN-S-FIU
Sunshine state kid get to stay in state

44. CAROLINA PANTHERS-KYLE LONG-G-OREGON
Worth immaturity risks in 2nd round

45. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS-KEWANN SHORT-DT/NT-PURDUE
Need a nose tackle for their 3-4 scheme.

The Rams need an athletic play making LB

47. DALLAS COWBOYS-ERIC REID-S-LSU
Happy they went DT in the first now

48. PITTSBURGH STEELERS-DEMONTRE MOORE-PR/OLB-TEXAS A&M
Need a pass rusher, is worth the character risks

49. NEW YORK GIANTS-KEVIN MINTER-ILB-LSU
Fills their biggest need and is the best player available

50. CHICAGO BEARS-LARRY WARFORD G-KENTUCKY
Need to keep Jay Cutler up right

51. WASHINGTON REDSKINS-JUSTIN HUNTER-WR-TENNESSEE
They must get RG III a big target on the outside

Picks in first 3 rounds: 51, 85
NEEDS:  SS, RT/G, CB, WR

NFL DRAFT-KEVIN ROBBINS' (AKA MY BRO IN LAW) MOCK DRAFT

  1. Kansas City- Luke Joeckel-OT
  2. Jacksonville- Dion Jordan-PR/OLB/DE      Does Jacksonville have the biggest incentive to suck for Clowney?
  3. Oakland- Shariff Floyd-DT      Unless they make Al Davis proud and select Coradelle Patterson
  4. Philadelphia- Star Lotulelei-DT      Fits Philly’s new 3-4
  5. Detroit- Eric Fisher-OT   To keep Stafford upright
  6. Cleveland- Ziggy Ansah-PR/DE   Draft his upside here.
  7. Arizona- Lane Johnson-OT
  8. Buffalo- Barkevious Minto-PR/LOB/DE      Value here to put on other side of Mario. Maybe I just don’t want him to be there for Jets.
  9. New York Jets- Dee Milner-CB   Just a cheaper injury risk
  10. Tennessee- Jonathan Cooper-G        Could make Pro Bowl as a rookie. Too athletic
  11. San Diego- Chance Warmack-G       Anything possible to keep Ryan Matthews healthy
  12. Miami- Xavier Rhodes-CB      Lost S. Smith. Grimes can mentor him.
  13. New York Jets- Tyler Eifert-TE   It’s not like Sanchez can throw downfield. Take him to fill Keller role.
  14. Carolina- Sheldon Richardson-DT   Feels like a Ron Rivera pick
  15. New Orleans- Jarvis Jones-PR/OLB      14 sacks in SEC, need to rush Matt Ryan.
  16. St. Louis- Tavon Austin-WR   Dream scenario for Rams
  17. Pittsburgh- Coradelle Patterson-WR      Makes sense after losing Wallace
  18. Dallas- DJ Fluker-OT    OT is Dallas’ biggest need (except for a QB to play the 4th)
  19. New York Giants- Bjoern Werner-PR/DE    Pass rusher fits what has made Giants good
  20. Chicago- Alec Ogletree-LB      Perfect value here. Character issues will work into Bears favor
  21. Cinicnnati- DJ Hayden-CB    Stock is rising
  22. St Louis- Kenny Vacaro-S   Will sure up a young secondary
  23. Minnesota- Deandre Hopkins-WR      They need to replace Percey
  24. Indianapolis- Tank Caradine-PR/DE   His last workouts shot him in 1st round. Lost Freeney
  25. Minnesota- Manti TeĆ³-ILB   It’s just what I’ve heard and I can’t see him dropping out of 1st round
  26. Green Bay- Eddy Lacy-RB    Have to take an RB
  27. Houston- Robert Woods-WR   You think it’s time to think about a successor for Andre?
  28. Denver- Desond Trufant-CB   “Do it all” corner. If they don’t take corner here everyone is fired.
  29. New England- Justin Hunter-CB      They tried for Emmanuel Sanders. They need a deep threat. Reach but with only 5 picks, you’ll see them take risks for needs.
  30. Atlanta- Margus Hunt-PR/DE    To lighten loss of Abraham
  31. San Francisco- John Jenkins-DT/NT    When Justin Smith went down last year we saw how they lacked depth there
  32. Baltimore- Jonathen Cyprien-S    Ed Reed’s replacement

Or Geno could go at 4 or 6 and Nassib go to Bills ala Tannehill to Dolphins. Then the whole thing goes to shit.

NFL MOCK DRAFT 2.0-The Mr Matt, Donnie and Tommy mock draft

This is the mock that I did with two of my good friends a fellow draft lovers.  We rotated the picks between the three of us and no one was allowed to pick for their favorite team.  I like the Jags, Donnie is a Dolphins fan and Tommy loves the Pack

So here it is:

FIRST ROUND

Tommy
1. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS-LUKE JOECKEL-OT/LT-TEXAS A&M
Because everyone else has him going there.

Donnie 2. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS-DION JORDAN-PR/OLB/DE-OREGON
Jacksonville needs that hybrid OLB/DE pass rusher that can cover too

Matt
3. OAKLAND RAIDERS-SHARIFF FLOYD-DT-FLORIDA
Best player available, the Raiders need everything

Tommy
4. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES-STAR LOTULELEI-DT/LT-UTAH
To fuck things up.  Plus I don't wanna go chalk, screw Eric Fisher

Donnie
5. DETROIT LIONS-ERIC FISHER-OT-CENTRAL MICHIGAN
Thank you Philly for being stupid.

Matt
6. CLEVELAND BROWNS-BARKEVIOUS MINGO-PR/OLB-LSU
This is a reach, but they need a pass rusher.  Plus this screws the Jets who also need a pass rusher

Tommy
7. ARIZONA CARDINALS-ZIGGY ANSAH-PR/DE-BYU
Why take OT Lane Johnson here?  Carson Palmer will suck regardless.  I like Ziggy here.

Donnie

8. BUFFALO BILLS-JONATHAN COOPER-G-UNC
They need to replace Andy Levitre and #8 is just too high for Ryan Nassib.

Matt
9. NEW YORK JETS-DEE MILLINER-CB-BAMA
The Goodbye Revis!!! Hello Dee!!!

Tommy
10. MIAMI DOLPHINS-(Trade up with TN for #12 and #77)-LANE JOHNSON-OT-OKLAHOMA
The Dolphins move up two spots and get a solid left tackle.  Too good to pass up here.

Donnie
11. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS-CHANCE WARMACK-G-BAMA
The Chargers don't want to see Rivers on his ass anymore.  Warmack is the best guard prospect in years.

Matt
12. ST. LOUIS RAMS (Trade up with TN for #16 and #78)-TAVON AUSTIN-WR-WEST VIRGINIA
The Rams need a play maker to help struggling young QB Sam Bradford

Tommy
13. NEW YORK JETS-GENO SMITH-QB-WEST VIRGINIA
The F-U Tebow, F-U Sanchez and even F-U to Greg McIlroy.  F-U to Vinny Testeverde, Chad Pennington and Ken O'Brian too.  Let the GENO era bigin

Donnie
14. CAROLINA PANTHERS-SHELDON RICHARDSON-DT-MIZZOU
Play it safe and take the best DT on the board.

The hotel room trasher himself.  The Vikings cannot go a full season without a headache at WR.  From Randy Moss to Percy Harvin to this guy.

God I hope Te'o and Hopkins end up on the same team.  Here is a preview of a conversation they may have at rookie camp.

DeAndre (sarcastically):  Hey Manti, is that your girlfriend over there

Manti (in quick response):  Hey DeAndre is that your terd on the the ground.

I can't wait for this to happen.

Fly to the podium to grab the big Cyp to replace the legendary Ed Reed.

Tommy
36. DETROIT LIONS-KEENAN ALLEN-WR-CAL

Donnie
37. CINCINNATI BENGALS-ARTHUR BROWN-ILB/WLB-KANSAS ST
Really want to take Leon Sandcastle here but Brown is a good pick too.

WHY NOT?  They NEED a QB

Tommy
42. MIAMI DOLPHINS-ZACH ERTZ-TE-STANFORD
Time to build that offense with new starters at WR-Mike Wallace, RB-Lamar Miller and at TE with Ertz and Dustin Keller

Donnie

A 6-8/277 freak of nature

The Panthers go with the other freak of nature an combine star in hopes that he can one day replace Jordan Gross at LT

Tommy
45. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS-KEWANN SHORT-DT/NT-PURDUE
Need a nose tackle for their 3-4 scheme.

Donnie
46. ST. LOUIS RAMS-MATT ELAM-SS-FLORIDA
The Rams get the strong safety they need.  Elam and current CB Janorris Jenkins played college ball together at Florida.

Matt
47. DALLAS COWBOYS-EDDIE LACY-RB-BAMA
With the top safeties gone the Cowboys get a power back to ease the load off of often injured DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones.

Tommy
48. PITTSBURGH STEELERS-DEMONTRE MOORE-PR/OLB-TEXAS A&M
Need a pass rusher, is worth the character risks

Donnie

Slot WR to compliment deep threats TSmitty and dancing star Jacoby Jones

NFL MOCK DRAFT WITH PROJECTED TRADES-1st ROUND

1. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS-LUKE JOECKEL-OT/LT-TEXAS A&M
It is either going to be Joeckel or Eric Fisher protecting Alex Smith's blind side this year.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 1, 63, 96
NEEDS: LT, 3-4 ILB, 3-4 DE

 2. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS-DION JORDAN-PR/OLB/DE-OREGON
As a fan I want them to take Shariff Floydm but all indications are that the Jags go with the long and athletic hybid DE/OLB.  I trust Gus Bradley will know how to use him.  Ideally the Jags want to trade down to get more picks.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 2. 33, 64
NEEDS: PR, QB, DT, CB, SS, pretty much everything except a RB and LT

4. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES-ERIC FISHER-OT/LT-CENTRAL MICHIGAN
The Eagles can go variety of ways here: Jordan, Floyd, Geno Smith, Lane Johnson and of course trading down.  I think if Fisher is available, he's too good to pass up.  New coach Chip Kelly needs good O-Line play for his offense to work in the pros

6. MIAMI DOLPHINS-(Trade up with CLV for #12, #54 and #156)-DEE MILLINER-CB-BAMA
The Dolphins look like they are about to make a trade with KC for LT Branden Albert.  That shores up the O-Line.  They got WR Mike Wallace in free agency but they lost CB Sean Smith.  The Dolphins are smitten with Milliner and the Browns are looking to trade down.  It makes perfect sense for both teams
Picks in first 3 rounds: 12, 42, 54, 77, 82
NEEDS:  LT (if they don't make Albert trade), CB, #2 PR, LB depth

7. ARIZONA CARDINALS-LANE JOHNSON-OT/LT-OKLAHOMA

10. TENNESSEE TITANS-JONATHAN COOPER-G-UNC
Even with the key free agent signing of guard Andy Levitre, the Titans need help on the O-Line if they are going to pound the rock with speedster Chris Johnson and power back Shonn Greene.  Chance Warmack may be rated as the top guard by many scouts, but Cooper is the better fir for the Titans stretch zone blocking scheme.  They could also go corner her with Xavier Rhodes or Milliner if he slips
Picks in first 3 rounds: 20,52, 82
NEEDS:  G, WR, CB, PR/DE, SS, MLB,

11. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS (Trade up with SD for picks #31, #34 and #128)-STAR LOTULELEI-DT/NT-UTAH
San Francisco trades up to get the nose tackle they need.  Lotulelei was a projected top 5 pick before questions about a heart condition arose at the combine.  The 49 can afford to take the risk with 13 total picks.  The reward could be a CHAMPIONSHIP.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 31, 34, 61, 74, 93
NEEDS:  NT, SS, PR Depth, backup TE

12. CLEVELAND BROWNS (Trade down with Miami)-JARVIS JONES-PR/OLB-GEORGIA
Like Lotulelei, Jones stock has slipped due to health concerns.  The Browns would consider him at #6, but are very happy to get him via trade down.  New Orleans and Pittsburgh hoped he would slide to them.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 6, 68
NEEDS: PR, #2CB, TE, RG, DE

 13. NEW YORK JETS-CHANCE WARMACK-G-BAMA
The Jets take a guard with Pro Bowl potential with the pick they acquired via the Darrelle Revis trade.  Given their other needs, Tavon Austin, Geno Smith or Xavier Rhodes would also make a lot of sense.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 9, 13, 39, 72
NEEDS: QB, PR, #1 WR, CB, G

14. CAROLINA PANTHERS-DEANDRE HOPKINS-WR-CLEMSON
Hopkins' size and ball skills make him a better all around WR than Tavon Austin.  The Panthers need a young WR to take over for Steve Smith
Picks in first 3 rounds: 14, 44
NEEDS: DT, Young WR, PR, G/RT, CB, RB

15. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS-XAVIER RHODES-CB-FSU
With the top pass rushers off the board, the Saints get a big press corner to help them against the big WR's like Julio Jones and Vincent Jacskon
Picks in first 3 rounds: 15, 75
NEEDS: PR, Press CB, LT, Deep threat WR, LB Depth

16. ST. LOUIS RAMS-TAVON AUSTIN-WR-WEST VIRGINIA
The Rams need a play maker like Austin to take the pressure off of QB Sam Bradford.  Some people say Austin may go in the top 10, but I think #16 is the right landing spot for the versatile WR with 4.34 speed
Picks in first 3 rounds: 16, 22, 46, 78
NEEDS: WR, S, LG, OLB

17. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES (Trade up with PIT for #35 and 2014 1st round pick)-GENO SMITH-QB-WEST VIRGINIA
If Smith slips, someone will trade up back into the first to get him.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 4, 35, 67
NEEDS:  OT, CB, SS, LB depth, C, QB

18. DALLAS COWBOYS-SHELDON RICHARDSON-DT-MIZZOU
Richardson is a big yet very quick DT that would fit perfect in new defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin's Tampa 2 under scheme
Picks in first 3 rounds: 18, 47, 80
NEEDS: DE or NT, RT/G, #2/3 WR

19. HOUSTON TEXANS (Trade up with NYG for #27 and #99)-CORDELLE PATTERSON-WR-TENNESSEE

20. CHICAGO BEARS-ALEC OGLETREE-MLB/WLB-GEORGIA
Ogletree's athletic ability and coverage skills make him an ideal fit as either a MLB or WLB in Chicago's defense.  If he can put his off the field troubles behind him, he may end up being the best player in this draft class.

25. MINNESOTA VIKINGS-SYLVESTER WILLIAMS-DT-UNC
I think this would be the steal of the draft.  Williams is NFL ready to start at DT, which happens to be the VIking biggest need.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 23, 25, 52, 83
NEEDS: DT, CB, MLB, #3 WR, G

26. GREEN BAY PACKERS-TYLER EIFERT-TE-NOTRE DAME
Current TE Jermichael Finley will be a free agent next summer and the Packer will not have the money to pay him what he desires.  But just like with Greg Jennings, the Packers just replace them with a better, younger version.  Eifert is the top TE on the board and could go as high as the top 15.  Great value here.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 28, 55, 88
NEEDS: RB, 3-4 DE, TE, DB Depth

27. NEW YORK GIANTS-DESMOND TRUFANT-CB-WASHINGTON
LB is by far their biggest need but Trufant is too good of value here.  The Giants will hope Arthur Brown, Manti Te'o or Kevin Minter is available in the 2nd round
Picks in first 3 rounds: 19, 49, 81
NEEDS: LB, RT/G, power RB, CB

28. DENVER BRONCOS-TANK CARRADINE-PR/DE-FSU
With Trufant gone, the Broncos address their other top need at pass rusher.  Carradine recently ran a 4-75 coming off of ACL surgery.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 28, 58, 90
NEEDS:  DE, young CB, RB

29. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS-JAMAR TAYLOR-CB-BOISE
The Patriots need a corner in the worst way.  Taylor could start from day one.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 29, 59, 91
NEEDS:  CB, DT, WR

30. ATLANTA FALCONS-BJOERN WERNER-PR/DE-FSU

The Falcons need a pass rusher and a corner with the losses of John Abraham and Brent Grimes.  Werner has seen his stock fall recently.  This would be a great steal for the Falcons
Picks in first 3 rounds: 30, 60, 92
NEEDS:  CB, DE, young TE, C/G, LB Depth

31. SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (Trade down with SF)-MANELIK WATSON-OT/RT-FSU
The Chargers need to protect QB Phillip Rivers.  Watson is a nice start.
Picks in first 3 rounds: 11, 45, 76
NEEDS:  WR, RT, RG, NT, DB Depth

32. BALTIMORE RAVENS-KEVIN MINTER-ILB-LSU
Sorry Manti Te'o, the Ravens like Minter just a little bit more to be the replacement for the legendary Ray Lewis at ILB.

Picks in first 3 rounds: 32, 62, 94
NEEDS:  SS, ILB, Slot WR
