NFL DRAFT: QB Breakdown

1.  ANDREW LUCK-QB-STANFORD
Size: 6-4/234/4.67-40/36 inch vert
NFL Comparison: Aaron Rodgers
He has the size of Peyton Manning, but is a much better athlete.   His intelligence may one be on the Manning level but early in his career he will be very similar to Rodgers with his arm strength, accuracy and ability to make plays with his feet as well.

2.  ROBERT GRIFFIN III-QB-BAYLOR
Size: 6-2/223/4.41-40/39 inch vert
NFL Comparison: Steve Young coming out of college
I hate the Vick comparisons, RG III is bigger, faster, stronger, much more accurate but slightly less athletic than Vick.  He is more like Young when Young came out of BYU.  Young was very athletic but a solid passer as well.  Like Young, RG II has a chance to be a great QB in a West Coast offense.

3. RYAN TANNEHILL-QB-TEXAS A&M
Size: 6-4/221/4.65-40
NFL Comparison: David Carr/Alex Smith
A lot of people compare him to Alex Smith but I think his size, skill and athletic ability is more like David Carr.  Carr was an average NFL QB and is considered by many to be a bust because he was the #1 pick in the draft in 2002.  However I consider him an average QB who had a chance to be good but the Texans could never protect him.  Tannehill is a great athlete who like Carr will be an average NFL QB unless he gets the right pieces around him.

5. BROCK OSWEILER-QB-ARIZONA ST.
Size:6-7/242
NFL Comparison:  Joey Harrington
I only make this comparison as a joke because both guy look like teeny bopper  movei stars of their era.  Osweiler looks like the dude from "Twilight while Harrington looked like Freddie Prinze Jr.  I'm sure it is good with the young ladies but it doesn't translate to wins in the NFL.
