2026 NFL FREE AGENCY RANKINGS
This year’s free agent crop has a nice mix of pass rushers, young offensive play makers, a few offensive linemen and many defensive backs entering their prime.
Tier 1: STARS and Potential Franchise Tag players
1. TYLER LINDERBAUM-C-BALTIMORE RAVENS
6'2''/296
AGE: 26
DRAFT: 2022-25
PFF GRADE: 79.8
Market Value:
Top paid center Creed Humphrey-KC: 4 years/$72 (18.0 AAV)
Linderbaum is a 3x Pro Bowler and is in the top tier of centers along with Creed Humphrey and Aaron Brewer. He is far and away the best offensive lineman on the open market regardless of position. He is an elite run blocker and very good pass blocker. He can change the culture and elevate any line. Linderbaum will look to reset the market as the top paid center in the NFL.
2. TREY HENDRICKSON-EDGE-CINCINNATI BENGALS|
6'4''/266
AGE: 31
DRAFT: 2017-103
STATS: 17.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss in 2024
PFF GRADE: 88.1 in 2024
Market Value:
2 years: 50-60 million range
When healthy, Hendrickson is among the best pass rushers in the NFL. He had 17.5 sacks in 2023 and 2024. He was injured last season but was very productive in limited games. Pass rushers are a premium in the NFL and Hendrickson is an elite proven commodity. Because of his age and injury history, he may find it hard to get over 30 million annual average value, but he should get at least 25 million per season
3. GEORGE PICKENS-WR-DALLAS COWBOYS
6'3''/195
AGE: 24
DRAFT: 2022-52
STATS: 93 Receptions, 1429 yards, 9 TD
Market Value:
WR Franchise Tag: $28.824 million
Tee Higgins-CIN: 4 years/115.0 (28.72
AAV)
Pickens had a career year in Dallas after
being traded from Pittsburgh. He earned his first Pro Bowl trip and was AP
Second Team All Pro. He is a game breaker with ideal size and hands. He is a
great fit in Dallas. The interesting thing to see is how Dallas will value him
long-term considering they already have Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb under
contracts for a combined $94 million AAV. The Bengals have a similar situation
with Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase making big money. Pickens is likely looking
at a Tee Higgins type deal to stay in Dallas.
4. ALEC PIERCE-WR-INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
6'3''/211
AGE: 26
DRAFT: 2022-53
STATS: 84 Receptions, 1003 yards, 6 TD
Market Value:
Tee Higgins-CIN: 4 years/115.0 (28.72 AAV)
DeVonta Smith-PHI: 3 years/75.0 (25.0
AAV)
Pierce built off his third-year breakout
having an even better fourth season in the NFL setting career highs in
receptions and yards. The gap between him and Pickens is actually very small
and ironically, he was drafted one spot behind Pickens in 2022. Pickens has
been more consistent, yet Pierce is bigger, faster and can
jump higher. Pierce has a premium skill as a big play receiver. He has put up
big numbers with very inconsistent QB play. It is possible he could take
another step with a better signal caller.
5. DANIEL JONES-QB-INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
6'5''/230
AGE: 29
DRAFT: 2019-6
STATS: 3101 passing yards, 24 total TD, 8 INT, 68%
completion percentage, 100.2 QBR
Market Value:
QB Franchise Tag: $47 million Fully GUARANTEED
Baker Mayfield-TB: 3 years/100.0 (33.33 AAV) 40.0
GUARANTEED
Justin Fields-NYJ: 2 years/40.0 (20.0 AAV) 30.0 GUARANTEED
Jones will be the most polarizing free agent
this off season. He had his best season as professional before injuring his
Achilles Tendon. He has only had three good seasons as a starting quarterback. On
one hand the Colts don’t want him to leave and watch him become the next Sam
Darnold. However, Darnold won 13 games in Minnesota and didn’t have injury
concerns. Mayfield is a reclamation project that worked out while Fields did
not. Do the Colts (or any other team) see Jones as the long-term savior?
Situations like this make NFL free agency fun.
Tier 2: YOUNG Starters with potential
6. JAELAN PHILLIPS-EDGE-PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
6'6''/260
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2021-18
STATS: 28 career sacks
PFF GRADE: 74.0
Market Value:
Montez Sweat-ARZ: 4 years/98.0 (24.5 AAV)
Gregory Rousseau-BUF: 4 years/80.0 (20.0
AAV)
Phillips looked on the verge of stardom in
Miami in 21 and 22 before battling injuries in 23 and 24. Last season the
Dolphins traded him to Philly where he was an important piece for them down the
stretch. He has great size, is a proven pass rusher. While he is not a top-level sack producer like Hendrickson,
Phillips is in the Sweat/Rousseau tier as an edge defender and defensive end.
He could be a very good investment for a team with cap space that needs a
rusher.
7. JOHN FRANKLIN MYERS-DL5T-DENVER BRONCOS
6'4''/283
AGE: 29
DRAFT: 2018-135
STATS: 7.5 sacks, 6.0 TFL
PFF GRADE: 71.7 3-year Average
Market Value:
Jeffery Simmons-TEN: 4 years/94.0 (23.5 AAV)
Christian Barmore-NE: 4 years/83.0 (20.75
AAV)
Franklin-Myers is an inside pass rusher that
is a perfect fit in Denver’s 3 man front. Jeffery Simmons and Brandon Dorlus
were the only inside players with more sacks in 2025. The Broncos extended Zach
Allen last summer with a contract over 100 million. They may not have the
financial flexibility to keep Allen and Franklin Myers in Denver. The Los
Angeles Chargers have cap space and a need for an inside pass rusher. They
would be wise to lure Franklin Myers away from their division rivals.
8. RASHEED WALKER-LT-GREEN BAY PACKERS
6'6''/313
AGE: 26
DRAFT: 2022-249
PFF GRADE: 64.6
Market Value:
Kolton Miller-LV: 3 years/66.0 (22.0 AAV)
Alaric Jackson-LAR: 3 years/56.3 (18.77
AAV)
Walker has overachieved in his career as a
former 7th round pick. He is a capable starting left tackle that is
a good pass protector but a liability in the run game. Walker could be a big
winner due to supply and demand as he is the only starting left tackle
available in free agency. Add on that this year’s draft is also weak a left
tackle and Walker figures to cash in
9. ODAFE OWEH-EDGE-LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
6'5''/257
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2021-31
STATS: 7.5 sacks, 9.0 TFL
PFF GRADE: 74.0
Market Value:
Gregory Rousseau-BUF: 4 years/80.0 (20.0 AAV)
Jonathon Cooper-DEN: 4 years/60.0 (15.0
AAV)
Oweh is very similar to Phillips. Both were
first round picks in 2021 that were traded from the team that drafted them.
Oweh had a 10 sack breakout season in 2024 in Baltimore. He struggled at the
beginning of the season before being traded to Los Angeles where he was very
productive as a situational pass rusher. The Chargers are going to give an
extension to star pass rusher Tuli Tuipulotu so they may be hesitant to resign
Oweh.
10. DEVIN LLOYD-LB-JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
6'3''/227
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2022-27
STATS: 81 tackles, 6 TFL, 5 Interceptions
PFF GRADE: 88.4
Market Value:
Roquan Smith-BAL: 5 years/100.0 (20.0 AAV)
Nick Bolton-KC: 3 years/45.0 (15.0 AAV)
Lloyd had a breakout season in 2025 earning
second team All Pro and a trip to the Pro Bowl. He will cash in and be paid
among the top linebackers in football. He was a perfect fit in Jacksonville as
first year defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile was able to unlock his
potential. They would love to keep him in DUUUUVAAAL but he may be out of their
price range.
11. KYLE PITTS-TE-ATLANTA FALCONS
6'6''/250
AGE: 25
DRAFT: 2021-4
STATS: 88 Receptions, 928 yards, 5 TD
Market Value:
TE Franchise Tag: $16.319 million
TJ Hockenson-MIN: 4 years/66.0 (16.5 AAV)
Pitts’ combination of athletic ability and
size make him a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. However, the Falcons
have not always utilized him perfectly in his five-year career. New Head Coach
Kevin Stefanski has always used his tight ends well in every place he has
coached. He will be in new General Manager Ian Cunningham’s ear in trying to
keep Pitts in Atlanta.
12. MALIK WILLIS-QB-GREEN BAY PACKERS
6'1''/219
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2022-86
Market Value:
Baker Mayfield-TB: 3 years/100.0 (33.33 AAV) 40.0 GUARANTEED
Justin Fields-NYJ: 2 years/40.0 (20.0 AAV)
30.0 GUARANTEED
Daniel Jones-IND: last year 1 year/14.0
Wills is another polarizing free agent this
off season. What exactly is his market value? He has started only 6 games in
the NFL. He is a good backup, but handing over the keys to a franchise and major
dollars is a huge risk. He should get good money but I doubt any team gives him
more than two years considering how unproven he is.
Tier 4: YOUNG Defensive Backs
13. ALONTAE TAYLOR-CB-NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
6'0''/199
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2022-49
STATS: 83 tackles, 11 passes deflected, 2
Interceptions
PFF GRADE: 63.8
Market Value:
Byron Murphy-MIN: 3 years/54.0 (18.0 AAV)
Kyler Gordon-CHI: 3 years/40.0 (13.33 AAV)
Taylor is a physical defender that can play in
the slot and outside. He may never be a star but his versatility and toughness
can fit into any defensive scheme.
14. TARIQ WOOLEN-CB-SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
6'4''/205
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 22-153
STATS: 41 tackles, 12 passes deflected, 1
Interceptions
PFF GRADE: 65.03 (3-year Average)
Market Value:
Carlton Davis-NE: 3 years/54.0 (18.0 AAV)
DJ Reed-DET: 3 years/48.0 (16.0 AAV)
Woolen is a big physical outside corner that
excels in press coverage. He was a Pro Bowl player as a rookie but has since
become a solid starter. In the right system he may be able to return to Pro
Bowl form.
15. JAYLEN WATSON-CB-KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
6'2''/191
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2022-243
STATS: 64 tackles, 14 passes deflected, 2
Interceptions
PFF GRADE: 74.1
Market Value:
Carlton Davis-NE: 3 years/54.0 (18.0 AAV)
DJ Reed-DET: 3 years/48.0 (16.0 AAV)
Watson is a great story going from 7th
round pick and rotational player in his first few seasons to a starter in 2025.
He is tall, long and physical. Patrick Mahomes just redid his salary to create
more cap space for the Chiefs. Kansas City will do everything they can to keep
Watson for the next few seasons.
16. JAMEL DEAN-CB-TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
6'1''/206
AGE: 29
DRAFT: 2019-94
STATS: 46 tackles, 9 passes deflected, 3
Interceptions
PFF GRADE: 81.5
Market Value:
2 years/30.0 (15.0 AAV)
Dean is another tall, long, fast physical
corner on the market. Unfortunately for him he has never played a full season
during his seven-year career. The injury risks and being age 29 will likely
limit him to a shorter-term contract. He could be a good value starter for
teams that may miss out on Taylor, Woolen and Watson
Tier 3: YOUNG Offensive weapons
17. JAUAN JENNINGS-WR-SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
6'3''/212
AGE: 29
DRAFT: 2020-217
STATS: 66 Receptions, 809 yards, 6.5 TD (2-year
average)
Market Value:
Jakobi Myers-JAX: 3 years/60.0 (20.0 AAV)
Darnell Mooney-ATL: 3 years/39.0 (13.0 AAV)
Jennings is a big target that can get first
downs and make contested catches. He will ask for number one receiver money, but
he has never topped 1000 yards in a season and is not a speed guy. It will be
very interesting to see his market value compared to older proven receiver like Mike Evans.
18. BREECE HALL-RB-NEW YORK JETS
5'11''/217
AGE: 25
DRAFT: 2022-36
STATS: 1415 total yards, 5 TD, 36 Receptions
Market Value:
RB Franchise Tag: $14.536 million
Josh Jacobs-GB: 4 years/48.0 (12.0 AAV)
Hall is a young running back that provides
value as a runner and pass catcher. He is not in the top tier of backs like
Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffery and Derrick Henry. He could be used as
a valuable chess piece on pretty much any offense in the league. The Jets would be wise to Franchise Tag him.
19. KENNETH WALKER-RB-SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
5'9''/211
AGE: 25
DRAFT: 2022-41
STATS: 1309 total yards, 5 TD, 31 Receptions
Market Value:
Jonathan Taylor-IND: 3 years/42.0 (14.0 AAV)
Kyren Williams-LAR: 3 years/33.0 (11.0 AAV)
Walker picked the right time to have the best
game of his career in the Super Bowl. He was Super Bowl MVP after his 135
rushing yard performance. The knock on him was that he was too small to carry a
full workload but he erased those concerns in the playoffs. He is
set to cash in at a fair price. Seattle has plenty of decisions to make this
off season.
20. TRAVIS ETIENNE-RB-JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
5'11''/215
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2021-25
STATS: 139 total yards, 13TD, 36 Receptions
Market Value:
Jonathan Taylor-IND: 3 years/42.0 (14.0 AAV)
Kyren Williams-LAR: 2 years/33.0 (11.0 AAV)
Etienne actually had better numbers than
Walker last year and has similar career numbers to Hall. He is a dual threat
back that has a knack for the endzone. Jacksonville may have to choose between
him and Lloyd this off season.
Tier 5: FUTURE HALL OF FAME PLAYERS
21. AARON RODGERS-QB-PITTSBURGH STEELERS
6'2''/220
AGE: 42
DRAFT: 2005-22
STATS: 3101 passing yards, 24 total TD, 8 INT, 68%
completion percentage, 100.2 QBR
Market Value:
1 year/30 million GUARANTEED
Good luck to anyone figuring out if the 22nd
pick in the 2005 NFL draft will be back for year number 22.
22. MIKE EVANS-WR- TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
6'5''/230
AGE: 33
DRAFT: 2014-7
STATS: 74 Receptions, 1004 yards, 11 TD in 2024
Market Value:
Davante Adams-LAR: 2 years/44.0 (22.0 AAV)
Cooper Kupp-SEA: 3 years/45.0 (15.0 AAV)
DeAndre Hopkins-BAL: 1 year 5.0
Evans’ streak of 11 straight season with 1000
receiving yards finally came to an end last season. The 6x Pro Bowler is now
looking to be more of a number two in the Adams, Kupp, Hopkins mold. Tampa
would love to see him play his entire career there. The Chiefs, Patriots and
Bills are contenders with a need, but all would have to get creative to sign
him. He could also go to his hometown team in Houston to finish his career.
23. KHALIL MACK-EDGE-LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
6'3''/251
AGE: 35
DRAFT: 2014-5
STATS: 5.5 sacks, 6.0 TFL
PFF GRADE: 83.0
Market Value:
2 years/18.0 (9.0 AAV)
Mack is still productive in a limited pass
rush specialist role at this point in his career. He has been a great fit with
the Chargers the past 4 seasons. He would be a good addition to any contender.
24. BOBBY WAGNER-LB-WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
6'0''/241
AGE: 36
DRAFT: 2012-29
STATS: 4.5 sacks, 8.0 TFL, 162 combined tackles
PFF GRADE: 79.3
Market Value:
2 years/18.0 (9.0 AAV)
1 year/7.0
The ageless wonder!!! Wagner still is among
the best inside off ball linebackers in the league and all time. He is among
the most durable players in NFL history playing over 1000 snaps in 9 of his 14
seasons.
25. TRAVIS KELCE-TE-KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
6'5''/257
AGE: 36
DRAFT: 2013-63
STATS: 76 Receptions, 851 yards, 5 TD
Market Value:
2 years/18.0 (9.0 AAV)
1 year/7.0
Kelce was still productive even in his age 36 season. He is arguably the best tight end of the past decade. He will likely only return to Kansas City.
Tier 6: Young Starters that could be overpaid based on
potential
26. BRYAN COOK-S-KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
6'1''/206
AGE: 26
DRAFT: 2022-62
STATS: 85 tackles, 6 passes deflected
PFF GRADE: 83.5
Market Value:
Camryn Bynum-IND: 4 years/60.0 (15.0 AAV)
Grant Delpit-CLE: 3 years/36.0 (12.0 AAV)
The Chiefs will probably prioritize signing
Watson over Cook due to the positional value of corner over safety. Cook is a
quality starter that is among the safest players in the entire free agency
class. He is young and it should not break the bank to sign him.
27. BOYE MAFE-EDGE/DE-SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
6'4''/261
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 22-40
STATS: 5.0 sacks, 6.0 TFL (career average)
PFF GRADE: 71.3 (career average)
Market Value:
Carl Granderson-NO: 4 years/52.0 (13.0 AAV)
Alex Wright-CLE: 3 years/33.0 (11.0 AAV)
Mafe is a better all-around football player
then a premier pass rusher. He was more a rotational player for the Super Bowl
champs last season as he took a back seat to DeMarcus Lawrence. He could start
on a lot of teams though.
28. WAN'DALE ROBINSON-WR-NEW YORK GIANTS
5'10''/191
AGE: 25
DRAFT: 2022-42
STATS: 92 Receptions, 1014 yards, 4 TD
Market Value:
Jerry Jeudy-CLE: 3 years/52.5 (17.5 AAV)
Khalil Shakir-BUF: 4 years/53.058 (13.26 AAV)
Robinson had a breakout season as he took his
game to another level. He had exactly the same number of targets and one less
catch than 2024 but it was what he did with the ball in his hands that took him
to another level. He went from a career 8.24 yards per reception to 11.5 las
season. He is the perfect slot weapon with his quickness. The Titans have cap space, a young QB and Robinson's old coach Brian Daboll is their new offensive coordinator.
29. ROMEO DOUBS-WR-GREEN BAY PACKERS
6'2''/204
AGE: 26
DRAFT: 2022-132
STATS: 55 Receptions, 724 yards, 6 TD
Market Value:
Jerry Jeudy-CLE: 3 years/52.5 (17.5 AAV)
Josh Palmer-BUF: 3 years/29.0 (9.67 AAV)
Doubs profiles as a good number two option on
most teams and a number three on elite offenses. He seems to be the perfect
good not great guy. He has good size, good hands and runs good routes. He
doesn’t do anything special but would be a great fit for a young QB on a team
with cap space like Las Vegas or Washington.
30. RASHID SHAHEED-WR/KR-SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
6'0''/180
AGE: 27
DRAFT: 2022 Undrafted
STATS: 59 Receptions, 687 yards, 2 TD
Market Value:
Khalil Shakir-BUF: 4 years/53.058 (13.26 AAV)
Josh Palmer-BUF: 3 years/29.0 (9.67 AAV)
Seattle GM John Schneider just knows how to
evaluate talent and calculate value better than anyone in football. Now he has
plenty of decisions to make in free agency. Will he some how be able to retain
Woolen, Walker, Mafe and Shaeed or does someone make Shaheed an offer he cannot
refuse.
Next Groups Sorted by Position and Age
