2024 NFL DRAFT: MOCK DRAFT

Round 1

1. CHICAGO BEARS
Caleb Williams-QB-USC
6’1”/214
NFL Comp: Kyler Murray/Jalen Hurts
Stats: 2-year Average:
4085 passing yards
36 passing touchdowns
5 Interceptions
67.6 completion percentage
169.3 QB Rating
10.5 Rushing Touchdowns

Williams put up insane passing numbers for Lincoln Riley’s Air Raid offense during his 2022 Heisman Trophy season. He naturally took a step back after losing Jordan Addison to the NFL. He has a great arm and is physically gifted. He makes plays in the pocket and is great when the play breaks down. His ball security is elite with a low interception to attempt rate.

The main concerns are based on playing a Spread Based Offense and only taking snaps in shotgun. The NFL success of Riley quarterbacks have been a mixed bag. He could end up the best of Hurts, Murray and Baker Mayfield. Williams is going to be the first pick and go to DA BEARS where he will work with new offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. Waldron worked was able to help Geno Smith have a career year in Seattle. He will cater the offense to Williams’ skill set and add a lot more spread concepts.

2. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
Jayden Daniels-QB-LSU
6’4”/190/4.41
NFL Comparison: Tall and Skinny Russell Wilson/Righty Michael Vick
2023 Stats
3812 passing yards
40 passing touchdowns
4 Interceptions
72.2 completion percentage
208.0 QB Rating
1134 Rushing Yards
10 Rushing touchdowns

Daniels is the evolution of the quarterback position. He is a tall and lean quarterback with blazing speed and a very strong arm. His deep ball and ability to make plays with his legs are reminiscent of Russell Wilson though they have polar opposite body types. Daniels has the highest potential of any player in the draft (including Williams) given his dual threat ability. His concerns deal with his slender frame and if he can take the hits of a 17 game NFL season.

In Washington Daniels will be paired with new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury. Daniels is the perfect talent for Kingsbury’s NFL modified Air Raid system. He has the perfect pass catching back in Austin Ekeler and some solid veteran receivers. Washington needs to invest in the offensive line early in the second round.

3. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Drake Maye-QB-UNC
6’4”/223
NFL Comp:  Philip Rivers/Daniel Jones
Stats: 2-year Average:
3964.5 passing yards
31 passing touchdowns
8 Interceptions
64.75 completion percentage
153.45 QB Rating
8 Rushing Touchdowns

Maye is the prototype big armed and big bodied quarterback. He can make every throw on the field and has a very good velocity. He is a good athlete for a bigger player and has shown he can make plays on the run when the play breaks down. He had a drop-in production but most attribute that due the lack of elite talent around him and poor line play. I compare him to a pair of signal callers that also played their college ball in the state of North Carolina (Rivers at NC St and Jones at Duke). Rivers is his upside while Jones should be his floor. All 3 guys are big pocket passer that had accuracy issues.

Maye has too much upside to pass on here. The Patriots will also look to trade down as they are in complete rebuild mode and could use extra picks. The Giants are rumored to want to move up to this spot. If they keep the pick, Maye would work with new offensive coordinator Alex van Pelt. Van Pelt had his best years as coach working with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay. He could maximize the talents of Maye in New England

4. ARIZONA CARDINALS
Marvin Harrison Jr.-WR-Ohio St
6’3”/209
NFL Comp: AJ Green/Ceedee Lamb
2023 Stats
67 receptions/1280 total yards/14 TD

Harrison is an elite prospect that has an ideal combination of speed, hands, height and length. His father was one of the smartest receivers and greatest route runners in NFL history. Harrison has similar football IQ to his father and incredible footwork for a taller wideout. I am not ready to compare him to Randy Moss as he is not that level of athlete, but Green and Lamb are realistic comparisons and should be the expectation for Harrison Jr in the NFL.

He should be able to have an instant impact and will be the top receiver for the Cardinals. The Cardinals need to upgrade the passing game and with young quarterback Kyler Murray and chance to succeed. They were 26
th in passing in 2023 and currently have the worst receiving core in the NFL. Tight End Trey McBride was their best pass catcher las season.

5. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Brock Bowers-TE-Georgia
6'3"/243
NFL Comparison: Travis Kelce/George Kittle
3-year Average
58.3/846/10.3

One could make an argument that Bowers is the safest tight end prospect in NFL history. I don’t know if that makes him the best ever. He may not have Kyle Pitts freak athletic ability or the height of a Tony Gonzalez/Rob Gronkowski. He has really no weakness to his game. He has great hands, speed and amazing body control. He is also a physical blocker that loves contact. Bowers has a chance to be a very special player.

This is an outside the box draft projection as most mocks have the Chargers trading down or taking an offensive tackle. Bowers would be the ideal chess piece in Jim Harbaugh’s balanced offense. The Chargers want to play more physical and want to quarterback Justin Herbert to improve his efficiency. Bowers would help in both the run and pass games. They can then address getting a right tackle in the second or third round.

6. NEW YORK GIANTS
Rome Odunze-WR-Washington
6'3"/214
NFL Comparison: Michael Thomas/Miles Austin
92/1677/14

Odunze took his game to another level in 2023. He established himself as the go to receiver for a Washington offense that features two other receivers likely to be drafted on day two. His combination of height, weight, length and speed is as good as any prospect. He knows how to use his frame and is the best in the class at making contested catches. His body type and skill set are nearly identical to Michael Thomas.

The Giants already have invested in two small speedy receivers the past two drafts in Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt. They lack a big physical guy like Odunze. He would instantly the perfect X receiver for head coach Brian Daboll’s offense.

7. TENNESSEE TITANS
Joe Alt-OT-Notre Dame
6'9"/321/82.75” Wingspan/27 reps
NFL Comp: Joe Thomas/Taylor Decker
PFF Grade: 90.7
Alt has a unique combination of skill, height, length and power that makes him an ideal starting left tackle. He is an elite pass protector and is solid in the run game. He has a chance to be an all-time great like Joe Thomas. His floor is a high-end starter like Taylor Decker. The team that drafts Alt is likely be getting a player that can start in this league for a decade.

The Titans have a glaring need at left tackle so Alt would start right away. The Titans are in a division with several premier pass rushers including Josh Allen, Danielle Hunter, Trevon Walker and Will Anderson. They need to upgrade the line if they want to compete.

8. ATLANTA FALCONS
Dallas Turner-EDGE-Alabama
6’3”/247/4.46 40 time/40.5 Vertical/83” Wingspan
NFL Comp: Von Miller/Harold Landry
PFF Grade: 81.6
10 sacks and 17 tackles for loss in 2023

Turner took over for Will Anderson as the top pass rusher at Alabama. He had a major jump in production in sacks, tackles for loss and total tackles. His size and athletic measurements are nearly identical to Von Miller. Turner has the tools to be a Hall of Fame player like Miller. His floor is a double-digit sack guy like Landry.

The Falcons have not had a player get double digit sacks in a season since Vic Beasley in 2016. Atlanta invested heavily in the offense in free agency. Expect them to invest a lot in the defense this draft.

9. CHICAGO BEARS
Malik Nabers-WR-LSU
6'0"/200
NFL Comparison: Ja’Marr Chase/Odell Beckham
89 receptions
1659 total yards
14 TD

Nabers is the next great LSU receiver prospect. He was an All American and put up great numbers in 2023. He can change direction, cut and accelerate at an elite level. His movement skills are as good as fellow LSU prospects Chase and Beckham. He has good size. but he is not as big as the other two elite receiver prospects in Harrison Jr and Odunze.

This would be a home run pick for the Bears as they get Caleb Williams a true number one receiver to work with. Nabers would also benefit from learning from veterans like Keenan Allen and DJ Moore. He would not have to be thrown in as the number one like he would in Arizona or New York.

10. NEW YORK JETS
Taliese Fuaga-OT-Oregon St
6'6"/324/80.63”
NFL Comp: Penei Sewell/Kaleb McGary
PFF Grade: 88.2

Fuaga is the best run blocker in the entire class. He is the ideal right tackle prospect that can also kick inside to guard. I compare him to Sewell, the best right tackle and best run blocker in the NFL. A team that wants to establish the run game could use Fuaga as an instant starter. His lack of length is the only reason for concern as a starting tackle.

The Jets singed Tyron Smith and Morgan Moses to start at the tackle spots. Both guys are 33 and on one-year deals. Fuaga could start at guard then move to tackle in 2025.

11. MINNESOTA VIKINGS
JJ McCarthy-QB-Michigan
6'3"/219
NFL Comp: Baker Mayfield/Mac Jones/Jake Plummer
2023 Stats
2991 passing yards
24 passing touchdowns
4 Interceptions
72.3 completion percentage
167.4 QB Rating

McCarthy’s mix of winning intangibles, size and raw athletic ability have him rising up draft boards and now is likely a lock to be drafted in the top 10. He played in a pro-style offense and led Michigan to a National Championship. He was very accurate as passer and those traits should translate. He was not asked to do too much at Michigan and is likely to be a game manager at the next level. Like Baker Mayfield, he could have some success in the right system.

McCarthy would fit perfectly in the Vikings balanced attack. In Minnesota he would have the tools to be successful early as he would be playing with one of the premier receivers in the game in Justin Jefferson. The Vikings also added running back Aaron Jones in free agency.

12. DENVER BRONCOS
Bo Nix-QB-Oregon
6'2"/214
NFL Comp: Case Keenum/Colt McCoy/Brock Purdy
2023 Stats
4508 passing yards
24 passing touchdowns
4 Interceptions
77.4 completion percentage
188.3 QB Rating

Nix is the most experience quarterback and possibly player in this entire draft. He put up video game numbers in his last season in Oregon’s spread offense. Like Keenum and McCoy he should have a good career as a backup and can win you games in the NFL if pushed into action. Is he a franchise quarterback? Likely not, but we have seen quarterbacks with limited arms and athletic tools turn into franchise guys (Brock Purdy, Kirk Cousins).

If any coach can get the most out of a guy like Nix, it will be Sean Payton. Nix may not be the next Drew Brees, but he could have success in Denver with Payton.

13. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Michael Penix Jr.-QB-Washington
6'2"/216
NFL Comparison: Mark Brunell/Tua Tagovailoa/Kenny Stabler
2023 Stats
4903 passing yards
36 passing touchdowns
11 Interceptions
65.4 completion percentage
157.1 QB Rating

No player in this draft has overcome more adversity than Penix. He suffered through multiple ACL tears while at Indiana. The past two years at Washington he proved himself as one of the best quarterbacks in college leading the Huskies’ explosive offense. The lefty has a very strong arm to deliver every throw down the field. He has the skills to be a solid starter but obviously comes with injury concerns.

I personally think this is a steal as I have Penix rated higher than McCarthy and Nix. He has the strongest arm of any quarterback in the draft and would be great throwing to Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers. He would remind old school Raider fans of "The Snake" Kenny Stabler in the 70's.

14. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Olu Fashanu-OT-Penn St
6'6"/312/82.63”
NFL Comp: Laremy Tunsil/Jake Matthews
PFF Grade: 78.7
Fashanu is arguably the best pass blocker in this draft class. He possesses elite athletic tools that translate on the field. He is just a notch below Atl as a prospect but has the potential to be just as good. Similar to Tunsil and Matthews, Fashanu projects as a long term starting left tackle.

Fashanu could start at left tackle from day one and they can move Trevor Penning inside to guard. The Saints need help on the line to help Derek Carr take a step forward in year two in the Big Easy.

15. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Quinyon Mitchell-CB-Toledo
6'0"/195/4.33 forty time/38” Vertical Jump
NFL Comp: Darius Slay/Jaire Alexander
PFF Grade: 91.5

Mitchell has an ideal combination size, length and speed for a perimeter corner. Only Nate Wiggins ran a faster 40 time and Wiggins is over 20 pounds lighter than Mitchell. His reaction time and ball skills are elite. Slay is a 6x Pro Bowler and Alexander is a top ten corner in the NFL now. Mitchell has a chance to be on that level early in his career.
Trevor Lawrence and CJ Stroud will be starting in the AFC South for the next decade. The Colts need defensive backs if they hope to compete with Jacksonville and Houston. The Colts could also draft a playmaker for Anthony Richardson here.

16. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS
Byron Murphy II-DL3T-Texas
6’1”/297/4.87/28 reps
NFL Comp: Geno Atkins/Mike Neal
PFF Grade: 91.1
5 sacks and 8.5 TFL
Murphy has a great combination of quickness, leverage and power. Calling him a poor man’s Aaron Donald is not a stretch. As long as he stays conditioned, he should be able to play over 800 snaps in an NFL season. He is disruptive against the run and collapsing the pocket as a pass rusher. He compares well to Donald, Atkins and Neal. This is the modern-day prototype 3 technique that teams are looking for.

Seattle gets the perfect interior lineman to play with Leonard Williams. New defensive coordinator Aden Durde was the line coach in Dallas and would love to work with a player like Murphy. Seattle needs to get back to their physical ways in the trenches.

17. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Terrion Arnold-CB Alabama
6'0"/189/4.5
NFL Comp: Stephon Gilmore/Devin McCourty
PFF Grade: 88.4

Many draft sites have Arnold ranked higher than Mitchell and it is very close. Mitchell’s elite speed will likely be the reason he is drafted slightly higher than Arnold. Both players have the elite tools to turn into Pro Bowl players. Arnold’s ball skills and ability to mirror receivers are his best attributes. He should be a starting outside corner from day one. He also has the versality to play slot or free safety, hence the McCourty comparison.

If I were the Jaguars, I would consider trading for either Tee Higgins or Brandon Aiyuk to give Trevor Lawrence a true number one option. If they stay put, Arnold would be a great selection. He would be an instant starter opposite Tyson Campbell and he has the versatility to play anywhere in the secondary.

18. CINCINNATI BENGALS
Brian Thomas Jr.-WR-LSU
6'4"/205/4.33
NFL Comparison:  Chris Godwin/George Pickens
68/1177/17

Thomas was the best number two receiver in the country and was every bit the big play threat that his teammate Malik Nabers was. He has the tools to be a great receiver but needs to be more consistent. He has a chance to be a better pro than college player like Pickens. He could also turn into the perfect number two option like Godwin in Tampa depending on the team that drafts him.

The Bengals draft Thomas here and then end up trading Tee Higgins on draft night. He would be an ideal number two and could help take the Bengals offense to an even higher level.

19. LOS ANGELES RAMS
Jared Verse-EDGE-FSU
6’4”/254/4.58/79.5”
NFL Comp:  DeMarcus Lawrence/Maxx Crosby
PFF Grade: 84.4
9 sacks and 12 TFL

Verse was a borderline first round prospect last year who improved his stock returning as a fifth-year senior. He has a great combination of speed, power and motor. He projects best as a base end, but has enough athletic ability to play off the ball as well. Like Crosby and Lawrence, Verse has a chance to be an All Pro if he finds the perfect system.

The Rams must begin the post Aaron Donald era. Verse could play linebacker or end in the Rams defense. The Rams would have a very nice young trio of pass rushers in Kobie Turner, Byron Young and Verse.

20. PITTSBURGH STEELERS
JC Latham-OT-Alabama
6'6"/342/84.38”
NFL Comp: Donovan Smith/Cordy Glenn
PFF Grade: 81.9

Latham met high expectations as the highest rated offensive tackle in the 2021 high school class. His combination of size and length is elite. He has versatility as a pass and run blocker and could start at either tackle spot.

The Steelers need help at tackle and center. They should draft Latham here and have him start at right tackle and move last year’s first round pick Broderick Jones to left tackle. Jones’ college teammate Amarius Mims is also an option here. They should draft a center in the second or third round.

21. MIAMI DOLPHINS
Jer’Zhan Newton-DL3T-Illinois
6’2”/304
NFL Comp: Grady Jarrett/Quinnen Williams
PFF Grade: 84.9
7.5 sacks and 8.5 TFL

The Newton vs Murphy debate really comes down to how much a team value’s Murphy’s elite athletic tools vs Newton’s consistent production. He is an elite run stuffing 3 tech that is also a great pass rusher. Both Newton and Murphy are as close to “can’t miss” prospects as one will find.
As tempting as it would be to take a speed receiver here, the Dolphins need to replace Christian Wilkins and Newton is the smart choice. Newton is ready to produce right away.

22. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Troy Fautanu-OT-Washington
6'4"/317/81.5”
NFL Comp: Rodger Saffold/Taylor Moton
PFF Grade: 75.5

Fautanu is a bully that plays with a nasty streak. He would fit best in a zone blocking scheme.
He is a very good pass protector that is very agile for his size. Like Saffold and Moton, Fautanu should be a very good right tackle that can also play guard.

Fautanu could come in and compete for a starting guard spot and eventually take over at right tackle for Lane Johnson. He would be a perfect fit in Philly with his ability to pull and create lanes.

23. MINNESOTA VIKINGS
Cooper DeJean-DB-Iowa
6’1”/203/4.47
NFL Comp: Minkah Fitzpatrick/Antrel Rolle
PFF Grade: 77.4

DeJean has the size and elite athletic tools to line up anywhere in the secondary. He is the most versatile defensive back in the class and one of the best against the run. He would be used best as a slot/safety hybrid in the way that the Steelers use Minkah Fitzpatrick.

With no second or third round pick, Minnesota is likely to trade down and get more picks. If they stay here I have them going one state south and getting the playmaking defensive back from Iowa. DeJean can be used at corner or safety and could be a replacement for 35 year old franchise legend Harrison Smith.

24. DALLAS COWBOYS
Tyler Guyton-OT-Oklahoma
6'8"/322/82.25”
NFL Comp: Brian O'Neill/Alex Barron
PFF Grade: 63.7

Guyton is not as experienced as the other tackles in this class as he was a backup at Oklahoma his junior year after transferring from TCU. He is very tall and with long arms. He is a very good pass protector with great athletic tools very similar O’Neill and Barron.

Guyton would fill the biggest need on the Cowboys line and get them back to a more physical style of football that has been lacking. Guyton is still raw but has the physical tools one looks for in a franchise left tackle. The Cowboys need a center too, but they could draft one in the third or fourth round.

25. GREEN BAY PACKERS
Amarius Mims-OT-Georgia
6'8"/340/86.75”
NFL Comp: Jordan Mailata/Bryant McKinnie
PFF Grade: 75.6

Mims is a big tackle prospect that has elite length. Like Mailata, he has rare athletic gifts for someone carrying that weight. He knows how to use his length and quick feet in pass protection. His limited starting experience is the main question going into the draft.

Zach Tom looks like the future at right tackle in Green Bay, however Rasheed Walker is average at best and would be better used as a swing tackle.

26. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Jackson Powers Johnson-C/G-Oregon
6’3”/328/78.5”/30 reps
NFL Comparison: Damien Woody/Tyler Biadasz
PFF Grade: 84.5

Powers-Johnson was the best center in the country winning the Rimington Award. He has an elite combination of power, toughness and intelligence. He is arguably the safest offensive line prospect in the class as he should be an instant above average starter from day one.

The run-on offensive linemen continue here as Tampa upgrades the interior of their line. JPJ will remind fans in Tampa of Ryan Jensen with his physical play and no non sense attitude. He could go to Pittsburgh or Dallas as well.

27. ARIZONA CARDINALS

Nate Wiggins-CB-Clemson
6'1"/173/4.28
NFL Comp: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie/Donte Jackson
PFF Grade: 82.5

Wiggins’ blazing speed is his best trait and it translates on the field. He also has good hips and body control for a taller corner. His lack of weight can be concern though when matched up against bigger receivers.

Budda Baker is the only impact player in the Arizona secondary. The Cardinals were near the bottom in passing touchdowns allowed and didn’t have a corner with more than one interception. Wiggins speed would be an asset to their defense.

28. BUFFALO BILLS
Adonai Mitchell-WR-Texas
6'2"/205/4.34
NFL Comp: Terry McLaurin/Mike Wallace
55/846/11

Adonai “AD” Michell transferred from Georgia to Texas and produced at a high level. His is very fluid and can change direction like a much smaller receiver. He is a big play guy that has a knack for the endzone. If when used as more of a role player at Georgia he still scored in all four College Football Playoff games he was in. He showcased his elite athletic ability at the combine posting the best broad jump at 136” and third fastest 40 time for receivers.

The Bills give Josh Allen one the best deep threats in the draft. Don’t be surprised if San Francisco or Kansas City trade up to get ahead of Buffalo to draft Mitchell.

29. DETROIT LIONS
Kool-Aid McKinstry-CB-Alabama -Alabama
6'0"/199
NFL Comp: AJ Terrell/Marcus Peters
PFF Grade: 88.8

Kool-Aid has by far and away the best nickname in the draft class. He formed the best corner duo in the nation along with Arnold. Kool-Aid was the top-rated corner in the high school class of 2021 and lived up to expectations playing as a true Freshman then starting the past two seasons. He has ideal length, size and ball skills to be a starting outside corner. His lack of elite athletic ability is why he not a top 10 pick.

He is the type of player that would fit perfectly with on the Lions defense. Detroit has a need at corner and could have their choice of Kool-Aid, Cooper DeJean and Nate Wiggins.

30. BALTIMORE RAVENS
Chop Robinson-EDGE-Penn St
6’3”/254/4.48/128” broad jump
NFL Comparison: Vic Beasley/Lorenzo Carte
PFF Grade: 90.8
4 sacks and 7.5 TFL in 2023, 5.5 sacks and 10 TFL in 2022

Robinson is the best athlete in this class of pass rushers. Currently, his projection is based more his unique athletic traits more than production. Historically it has been a very mixed bag for players like this.

Robinson is a Maryland native that is worth the gamble. The Ravens have one of the best interior pass rushers in Justin Madubuike. Their best outside rusher is 33 year old Kyle Van Noy. Odafe Oweh has not been consistent in his three years in Baltimore. Chop should be an upgrade for Baltimore.

31. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Laiatu Latu-EDGE-UCLA
6’5”/259/4.64
NFL Comp: Ryan Kerrigan/Josh Allen
PFF Grade: 96.3
13 sacks and 21.5 TFL

Latu was the most productive edge rusher in all of college football in 2023. He is as polished as pass rusher as one will find at such a young age. He is very quick and explosive for such a tall pass rusher. He has all the tools to become an elite pass rusher like Kerrigan and Allen.

Latu is a native of nearby Sacramento and would be a perfect fit to work opposite of Nick Bosa. His injury concerns drop him to the end of the first round.

32. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Ladd McConkey-WR-Georgia
6'0"/186/4.39
NFL Comparison: Don Beebe/Eric Metcalf
2022 Stats
58/896/9

McConkey is a very polished receiver that also provides a ton of value in the return game. He would be used perfectly in the slot where his quickness would be best utilized. He is a very good blocker and physical player for such a smaller guy. He is an old school player so I had to have the old school player comparisons with Beebe and Metcalf.

The Chiefs don’t have reservations about receivers that are small as long as they can get open and make plays for Patrick Mahomes. McConkey is a more complete receiver than deep threats Xavier Worthy or Troy Franklin.

Round 2

33. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Graham Barton-C/G/OT-Duke
6'5"/313/79.75”
NFL Comp: Graham Glasgow/Elgton Jenkins
PFF Grade: 75.9

The Panthers pick the in state prospect from Duke. Barton could start right away at center and give quarterback Bryce Young someone to grow with. Barton is the most versatile prospect in this class with experience at center and left tackle. In the NFL he will move inside to guard. Like Glasgow and Jenkins, he should be a good starter with position versatility.

34. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Jordan Morgan-OT-Arizona
6'5"/311/81.38”
NFL Comp: Dion Dawkins/Mitchell Schwartz
PFF Grade: 83.5

Morgan is a very experienced tackle prospect that overcame an ACL injury and returned to become an All American. He is a much better pass protector and would fit well on a team that passes the ball more. The Patriots get some line help for their new quarterback. Morgan can compete right away for the starting left tackle spot in New England.

35. ARIZONA CARDINALS
Zach Frazier-C-West Virginia
6'3"/313/78.5” Wingspan/30 reps
NFL Comp: Ted Karras/Stefen Wisniewski
PFF Grade: 76.5

Another offensive lineman to help a young quarterback. Frazier is a physical anchor that started four years at West Virginia. He has a good combination of size and technique. He is a center prospect that has enough bulk to play guard. Arizona could use an upgrade at every interior spot. Both Will Hernandez and Hjalte Froholdt will be free agents after this year.

36. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
Darius Robinson-LDE/EDGE-Missouri
6'5"/286/84.38”
NFL Comp: Williams Gholston/Jason Hatcher
PFF Grade: 83.1
8.5 sacks and 14 TFL

Robinson is freakishly long defensive end that can rush the passer, set the edge and kick inside on third downs. He played outside a lot more in 2023 and it resulted in a jump in production. He went from 4.5 career sacks to 8.5 last season. He should be able to carve out a nice role like Gholson has in Tampa. Robinson would be an ideal fit as a base end for Dan Quinn’s 4-3 defense. He could turn into another Carlos Dunlap

37. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS
Braden Fiske-DL5T/3T-FSU
6’4”/292/4.78/26 Reps
NFL Comp: Justin Madubuike/Timmy Jernigan
PFF Grade: 73.9
6 sacks and 9 TFL

Jim Harbaugh is tempted to take his own guy in Kris Jenkins, but Fiske is the better prospect. Fiske is disruptor that has the combination of power, size and athletic ability to play nearly anywhere on the interior of the line. Justin Madubuike is the blue print for how to use Fiske at the next level. The Chargers need guys that can get after Patrick Mahomes.

38. TENNESSEE TITANS
Xavier Worthy-WR-Texas
5'11"/165/4.21
NFL Comparison: Darnell Mooney/Hollywood Brown
75/1049/5

Second year quarterback Will Levis’ best trait is his rocket arm, why not give him the fastest guy in the draft?  Worthy set the combine record in the forty with a 4.21. His is a deep threat that has great footwork in addition to his speed. He was productive from his true Freshman season at Texas, yet his touchdown totals decreased every year. He offers value in the return game as well where teams will want him to show off his world class speed.

39. CAROLINA PANTHERS
Ennis Rakestraw-CB-Mizzou
5'11"/183/4.51
NFL Comp: Aaron Colvin/Janoris Jenkins
PFF Grade: 80.7

Rakestraw may be undersized, but he mirrors receivers as well as anyone in this draft class. He has very good length and is a willing tackler. He played mostly zone in college and would flourish in the Panthers zone heavy defense.

40. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS
Troy Franklin-WR-Oregon
6'2"/176/4.39
NFL Comp: Paul Richardson/Todd Pinkston
81/1383/14

Washington gives its new quarterback a big play deep threat. Franklin has been the go to guy for Bo Nix at Oregon the past two season. He is the definition of a deep threat with his blazing speed and long strides. The questions are if he can be anything more than a dep threat given his lack of bulk. The track record of guys over six feet and under 180 pounds having long term NFL success is very short. Franklin could be the one to change this stat or he could be nothing more than a backup outside receiver.

41. GREEN BAY PACKERS
Payton Wilson-LB-NC St
6’4”/233/4.43
NFL Comp: Sean Lee/Fred Warner
PFF Grade: 89.9
6 sacks, 17.5 TFL and 138 total tackles

Wilson has the perfect combination of elite speed, height and strength. He is versatile as an open field tackler, pass rusher and in coverage. His athletic gifts and length are perfect to match up with modern day tight ends. The Packers need an upgrade at linebacker.

42. HOUSTON TEXANS
Edgerrin Cooper-ILB-TX A&M
6’2”/230/4.51
NFL Comp: Darius Leonard/CJ Mosely
PFF Grade: 90.8
8 sacks, 17 TFL and 84 total tackles

The Texans take the local player from nearby College Station. Cooper is a fast and physical linebacker that is an ideal weakside (Will) linebacker. He changes direction like a running back and is great in pursuit. He graded well in coverage in college and has a chance to be special in the NFL. Head Coach DeMeco Ryans will see a lot of himself as a player in Cooper.

43. ATLANTA FALCONS
Tyler Nubin-S-Minnesota
6'1"/199
NFL Comp: Antoine Winfield/Marcus Williams
PFF Grade: 89.2

Nubin is the top-rated true safety prospect by most draft pundits. The last time a versatile safety from the University of Minnesota was drafted in the second round he turned out pretty good. Nubin is much bigger than Winfield but shares the same versatile traits that make him arguably the top safety in the NFL today. The Falcons continue to upgrade the defense after taking Dallas Turner in the first round.

44. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Marshawn Kneeland-EDGE-Western Michigan
6'3"/267/21 reps
NFL Comparison: Frank Clark/Dorance Armstrong
PFF Grade: 88.1
4.5 sacks and 7.5 TFL

The Raiders took superstar Maxx Crosby from Eastern Michigan in the fourth round of 2019. They go to the other side of Michigan and get the perfect guy to pair with Crosby.  Kneeland knows how to use his strong frame to overpower linemen. He uses a bull rush to collapse the pocket. He showed his quickness and change of direction skills posting the fastest 3 cone drill at the combine at 7.02 seconds

45. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Chris Braswell-EDGE-Alabama
6’4”/251/4.6
NFL Comp: Darrell Taylor/Dante Fowler.
PFF Grade: 81.0
8 sacks and 10.5 TFL

Braswell is a very fast pass rusher that played in the shadow of Dallas Turner and Will Anderson. He should be able to carve a role like Taylor and Fowler. He is a hard projection because he has always played with such great players. He has good pass rush moves and can drop into coverage. In the first round he would be a risk, but he is a safe pick in the late second early third range. He fills a big need for New Orleans.

46. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS
Adisa Isaac-EDGE-Penn St
6'4"/247/4.74/123” Broad Jump
NFL Comparison: Carl Granderson/Jonathon Cooper
PFF Grade: 81.7
7.5 sacks and 16 TFL

Isaac was more productive than his teammate Chop Robinson at Penn St. He is an excellent athlete that is a very good run stopper. He brings value to a team that needs help stopping the run on the edge. The Colts will probably not be able afford to keep current top defensive end Kwity Paye. Issac is the best player on the board and provides insurance for Paye.

47. NEW YORK GIANTS
Javon Bullard-SS-Georgia
5'11"/198/4.47
NFL Comp: Darnell Savage/Donovan Wilson
PFF Grade: 82.8

Bullard was used as the big slot nickel in Georgia’s base defense. This is the ideal role for him in the NFL where he can use his combination of size, speed and tackling. The Giants addressed the front in free agency, expect them to address the secondary early.

48. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS
Keon Coleman-WR-FSU
6’3”/213/4.61
NFL Comp: Tee Higgins/Kenny Golladay
50/660/11

Coleman is not a speed demon, but he makes up for it with elite level body control for a player his size. The same speed concerns caused Higgins to be a second-round pick in 2020. Coleman has the same big play ability. Jacksonville has a great slot guy in Christian Kirk and Gabe Davis could be a solid deep threat. Trevor Lawrence needs a big guy in the red zone.

49. CINCINNATI BENGALS
Kris Jenkins-DL3T-Michigan
6’3”/299/29 reps
NFL Comparison: Harrison Phillips/Jordan Elliott
PFF Grade: 90.8
2.5 sacks and 4.5 TFL

Jenkins is the best run stuffing tackle in this class. He is powerful and quick and plays much bigger than his 299-pound frame. He can handle double teams and is quick enough to be a factor in the pass rush game as well. The Bengals were 26
th against the run last year. Jenkins would help to stop the great rushing attacks of the AFC North teams.

50. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Ricky Pearsall-WR-Florida
6'1"/189/4.44
NFL Comp: Nate Burleson/Jerry Jeudy
65/1027/6

Pearsall is probably the best route runner in this entire draft class. He runs route like a seasoned pro and has sure hands to match. His combination of speed, footwork and IQ make him a very safe pick. He is the token high floor prospect that will never be a star but like Burleson and Jeudy, he could have a very productive NFL career. Pearsall would be a great number 3 with AJ Green and DeVonta Smith. He could help Jalen Hurts have a MVP season.

51. PITTSBURGH STEELERS
Xavier Legette-WR-South Carolina
6’1”/221
NFL Comp: Deebo Samuel/Cordarrelle Patterson
71/1246/7

The Deebo comparison isn’t just based on the same alma mater but similar playing style and toughness. Both guys are like running backs with the ball in their hands. The team drafting him will need to be creative in the ways they use him similar to Deebo and Patterson. Legette has some Hines Ward to his game as well. He could turn into a fan favorite in Pittsburgh.

52. LOS ANGELES RAMS
TJ Tampa-CB-Iowa St
6'1"/189
NFL Comp: Kyle Fuller/Jaylon Johnson
PFF Grade: 75.8

Tampa has an ideal combination of length, height and ball skills. He is physical and has shown versatility to play press man and zone. The Rams have not had an elite outside corner since losing Jalen Ramsey. Tampa is obviously not on that level but he would upgrade the secondary.

53. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Bralen Trice-DE/EDGE-Washington
6'3"/245/22 reps
NFL Comparison: Uchenna Nwosu/Alex Highsmith
PFF Grade: 88.1
7 sacks and 11.5 TFL

Trice is a hard worker with a great motor. He is was among the best in college football at generating pressure on the passer. Like Highsmith and Nwosu, he is a bit undersized but would make an ideal complement to a star. He could be a steal in the third round.

54. CLEVELAND BROWNS
Kingsley Suamataia-G/RT-BYU
6'5"/326/81.13”/31 Reps
NFL Comp: Brandon Shell/Chukwuma Okorafor
PFF Grade: 67.5

Suamatioa is a powerful and physical lineman. He is good run blocker that is improving in the pass game. He is a pretty good athlete for his size as evidenced by his 110” broad jump. The Browns need to find eventual successors for their aging interior linemen.

55. MIAMI DOLPHINS
Cooper Beebe-G-Kansas St
6'3"/322/78.18”/20 Reps
NFL Comp: Will Hernandez/Joe Looney
PFF Grade: 83.9

Beebe is among the most experienced players in this draft class. He has short arms but knows how to use his leverage and has great technique. Left Tackle Terron Armstead remains solid and they gave young Right Tackle Austin Jackson an extension. They signed Aaron Brewer to start at center but could use upgrades at both guard spots.

56. DALLAS COWBOYS
Jonathon Brooks-RB-Texas
6'0"/216
NFL Comp: Melvin Gordon/Miles Sanders
1425 Total Yards
11 Touchdowns
25 receptions

Brooks waited patiently for two years behind two NFL running backs in superstar Bijan Robinson and power back Roschon Johnson. Brooks did not disappoint in his only season as the workforce back. Brooks’ quickness for his size is his greatest asset. He moves and cuts like a back weighing 200 pounds. He showed some skills as a receiver in space but he is not likely to ever be 40 receptions in a year type of back. He would be the best back in Dallas the day he gets there.

57. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS
Ruke Orhorhoro-DE/DL5T3T-Clemson
6’4”/294/29 reps/4.89
NFL Comp: Jonathan Bullard/Quinton Jefferson
PFF Grade: 73.5
5 sacks and 8 TFL

Orhorhoro has an incredible combination of power, length and quickness. He is an excellent athlete for an interior lineman. He is still very raw and has the tools to develop into a starter. He would be the perfect 5 tech end to pair with nose tackle Vita Vea and last year’s first round pick, 3 tech Calijah Kancey.

58. GREEN BAY PACKERS
Mike Sainristil-Slot DB-Michigan
5'9"/182/4.47
NFL Comp: Mike Hilton/DJ Reed
PFF Grade: 81.4

Sainristil is a very physical slot defender that has incredible body control and quickness. He played receiver for three years at Michigan before switching to corner the past two seasons. His experience on offense shows with excellent ball skills. He should be able to carve out a role as a very good slot corner at the next level. The Packers get the perfect slot corner to matchup with the highly paid Amon-Ra St Brown.

59. HOUSTON TEXANS
Kamari Lassiter-CB-Georgia
6’0”/186
NFL Comp: Josh Norman/Rock Ta Sin
PFF Grade: 85.4

Lassiter is a very physical corner despite his size. He is very similar to Kool Aid in that he was able to play right away on a very talented and complex defense. His football IQ and toughness should allow him to have a long NFL career. He is another guy that DeMeco Ryans will love to coach.

60. BUFFALO BILLS
Blake Fisher-OT-Notre Dame
6'6"/310/83.0”
NFL Comp: John Theus/Kenyatta Walker
PFF Grade: 90.7

Fisher formed the best tackle duo in the nation with Joe Alt. He has a nice combination of size, quickness and agility. He is scheme versatile and is very physical. Left Tackle Dion Dawkins remains a franchise player protecting Josh Allen’s blindside. Right Tackle Spencer Brown is entering the last year of his deal and has been average at best.

61. DETROIT LIONS
Ja'Lynn Polk-WR-Washington
6'1"/203/4.52
NFL Comparison:  Marvin Jones/Tyler Boyd
69/1191/9

Polk is a versatile receiver that can play inside or outside. He has good everything (good hands, good routes, good size, good physicality) but nothing truly elite.  He is the token “just does his job” type of guy that would be an ideal number 2/3 receiver. Guys like Jones and Boyd have been able to stick in the league due to intangibles and so should Polk.

62. BALTIMORE RAVENS
Christian Haynes-G-UConn
6'3"/317/79.75”/25 Reps
NFL Comp: Nate Davis/Ronald Leary
PFF Grade: 80.2

Haynes is an athletic run blocker that is both experienced and durable as her started 49 straight games. He is solid in both the run and pass games. The Ravens must do everything they can to keep Lamar Jackson healthy.

63. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Roger Rosengarten-RT/G-Washington
6'5"/308/80.38”/4.92 forty time
NFL Comp: Chris Chester/Ezra Cleveland
PFF Grade: 71.0

Rosengarten was the fastest lineman at the combine posting a 4.92 forty which is just INSANE to do at over 300 pounds. He is a right tackle that protected the blindside of lefty quarterback Michael Pennix Jr. He is raw and lacks length but could be a starter if he finds the right situation and coach that develops his raw athleticism. Rosengarten went to the same high school as the McCaffery family and he would be a good fit at right tackle for the 49ers.

64. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Khyree Jackson-CB-Oregon
6'4"/194/4.5
NFL Comp: Ahkello Witherspoon/Benjamin St-Juste
PFF Grade: 80.5

Jackson is a tall corner that has elite level length with a 78” wingspan. He has the traits to become a good press man corner.  He is an older prospect (will turn 25 in August) that played at JUCO and as a backup at Alabama. He finally settled into a starting role at Oregon where he showed the traits that will get him drafted in on day two. The Chiefs love big outside corners, so they add Jackson in the mix to compete with Joshua Williams and Jaylen Watson
