Superstar Max Deal, 25% of the cap
Clearly one of the best young centers in the league. An absolute beast on the glass and an intimidating defensive presence. He can't hit a free throw to save his life. He is the face of the franchise in Detroit. He should be locked up very soon.
4. DEMAR DEROZAN-TORONTO RAPTORS

Two time All-Star player that is one of the best athletes and slashers in the game. He isn't the greatest shooter but he still gets you 20 a night. He's likely to stay in Toronto but his hometown Lakers will try their best to get him back in LA.
5. MIKE CONLEY-MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
PG (5-10)
6-1/175
AGE: 28
3 year games played average: 71.3
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with MEM, DAL, CHI, MIL, SA
Market Value:
Max Deal with 7-9 years of service, 30% of the cap
While Conley is not on the Curry, Westbook, CP3 or Lillard level, he is clearly in the second tier. He is far and away the best PG on the market as there's quite a gap between him and the likes of Rajon Rondo and Deron Williams in both age and ability.
6. AL HORFORD-ATLANTA HAWKS
PF (6-10), C (6-10)
6-11/245

One of the best and most underrated players in the game for the past decade. He is a four time All-Star that is a great passer and shoots at a high percentage. As you can see a wide number of teams will be interested in him.
7. BRADLEY BEAL-WASHINGTON WIZARDS
(RESTRICTED)
SG (6-12)
6-5/207
AGE: 23
3 year games played average: 63.6
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with WAS
Market Value:
Max Deal with under 6 years of service, 25% of the cap
Several pros and cons with Beal.
Cons: Major injury concerns and will never be the best player on a good team
Pros: He just turned 23 and unlike Harrison Barnes, he has proved that he can consistently score close to 20 per game.
The Wizards may not WANT to give him a Max deal but they really have no choice at this point. If Beal walks, he will get a max deal elsewhere and Washington isn't a high priority for most other free agents on this list.
8. NIC BATUM-CHARLOTTE HORNETS
SF (6-10), SG (6-12)
6-8/200
AGE: 27
3 year games played average: 74.3
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with CHR, DAL, MIA, MEM
Market Value:
Max Deal with 7-9 years of service, 30% of the cap
Versatility is the calling card of Batum. He is a true five tool player that can defend, shoot. pass, rebound and slash. The move to Charlotte really helped him. He led the Hornets in assists, was their second leading scorer and was their best defender. The Hornets need to keep him if they hope to make the playoffs again.
9. HASSAN WHTESIDE-MIAMI HEAT
C (6-13)
7-0/235
AGE: 27
3 year games played average: 73 games last year (was in the D-League in the years before)
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with MIA, DAL, LAL, HOU, POR
Market Value:
Seeking Max Deal with under 6 years of service, 25% of the cap
After spending five years in the D-League and overseas, Whiteside came out of no where to become a double double machine and the best shot blocker in the league. He gives you the same thing that Drummond and DeAndre Jordan give you but he isn't as big and has had some injury issues. He will get a Max deal from someone due to his size and skill set.
10. DWIGHT HOWARD-HOUSTON ROCKETS
C (6-13)
6-11/265
AGE: 30
4 year games played average: 64.75
Possible Destinations: ATL, BOS, NY, DAL
Market Value:
18-22 million per season
If Whiteside is worth a Max deal, then one would have to argue that Howard is worth a Max deal as well. Howard is only 30 and can still rebound as well as most bigs in the league. He has baggage but in the right setting could return to All Star form.
11. CHANDLER PARSONS-DALLAS MAVERICKS
SF (11-15) PF (11-13)
6-10/230
AGE: 29
3 year games played average: 67.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with DAL, ATL, POR, MEM, ORL
Market Value:
Seeking Max Deal with under 6 years of service, 25% of the cap
Knee injuries have cut short his past two seasons so that has to be considered by teams seeking his services. When healthy he has proved to be a legit #3 scoring option on a playoff team. He is a 6-10 guy that can shoot near 40% form three and near 50% from the field. Because of that, team could see him as the perfect small ball four that is athletic enough to still play SF.
12. HARRISON BARNES-GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS
(RESTRICTED)
SF (11-15)
6-8/225
AGE: 24
4 year games played average: 76.75
Possible Destinations: NO, POR, LAL, PHL, ATL, BRK, Re-sign with GS
Market Value:
Under 6 years Max Deal, 25% of the cap
2015 NBA champion that has done what the Warriors have asked of him. Can he become a 20 point per game somewhere else. New Orleans makes a lot of sense as he would be reunited with coach Alvin Gentry.
Tier 3:
Past Prime future Hall of Famers and former All Stars
Some may take less to help their current franchise while others will be seeking a near Max deal
13. DWYANE WADE-MIAMI HEAT
SG (3-6)
6-4/220
AGE: 34
4 year games played average: 64.75
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with MIA, NY, CLV. LAC, CHI
Market Value:
Seeking a deal with a 20 million average
Had a great year in 2016 after being injured much of the previous two seasons. Obviously he is the face of the Heat so they will do everything gin their power to keep him. If he tests the market, he will get plenty of interest from average teams but may need to sign for the Mid Level Exception to play for a contender.
14. DIRK NOWITZKI-DALLAS MAVERICKS
PF (6-10)
7-0/245
AGE: 38
3 year games played average: 77.3
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with DAL, GS
Market Value:
2 year deal at around 15-18 million per

AGE: 36 in July
3 year games played average: 70.0
Possible Destinations: DAL, SA, MIA, GS, NY
Market Value:
2 year deal at around 15-18 million per
Pau is still one of the better big men in the NBA. His skill set and veteran leadership will make him an attractive player for contenders needing a big man
16. RAJON RONDO-SACRAMENTO KINGS
PG (11-16)
6-1/186
AGE: 30
3 year games played average: 70.0
Possible Destinations: BRK, CHI, Re-sign with SAC

Third tier point guard, Reggie Jackson, 16 million per season
He took a one year 'prove it' deal with Sacramento last year and proved that he is still one of the most versatile players in the league.
17. JOAKIM NOAH-CHICAGO BULLS
C (5-15) when healthy
7-0/232
AGE: 30
3 year games played average: 60.5
Possible Destinations: NY, MIA, ATL
Market Value:
2 year deal at around 15-18 million per
Noah's defense, passing ability, high basketball IQ and overall hustle make him a great piece on any team. The question remains, can he stay healthy? The native New Yorker may look to join Derrick Rose in the big apple.
18. LUOL DENG-MIAMI HEAT
SF (6-13)
6-9/220
AGE: 31
4 year games played average: 71.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with MIA, DAL, GS, MEM, NO
Market Value:
2 year deal at around 15-18 million per
Deng is a great locker room guy that can still defend both forward spots. He should provide a cheaper alternative to teams that miss out on Batum, Parsons and Barnes. Why pay 20 million on a four year deal for those guys if you can get Deng for two years at 16 million per season?
Tier 4:
Good role players under 30
19. RYAN ANDERSON-NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
PF (11-18)
6-10/240
AGE: 28
2 year games played average: 63.5
Possible Destinations: SAC, WAS, POR, HOU. MEM, DET, LAL
Market Value:
Between 17-20 million
A lights out shooter with good size in a NBA that values shooting and length. Anderson would be a perfect fit in his hometown of Sacramento playing with a big like DeMarcus Cousins. Any playoff team looking for a shooter would fit as well.
20. EVAN FOURNIER-ORLANDO MAGIC

SG (11-14)
6-7/205
AGE: 23
3 year games played average: 71.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with ORL
Market Value:
Between 17-20 million
Great 3 point shooter with a high IQ and a team attitude. The Magic traded Victor Oladipo to OKC because they know Fournier is the better fit as their starting two guard.
21. KENT BAZEMORE-ATLANTA HAWKS
SG (15-18)
6-5/201
AGE: 27 on July 1st (Happy Birthday $$$$$$)
2 year games played average: 75.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with ATL, MEM, BRK, NY, MIL
Market Value:
Between 15-18 million
Broke out big time last year in Atlanta as their defensive specialist and #4 scoring option. He filled the void left by DeMarre Carroll's departure. The Hawks will need to pay a lot to keep him.
22. JORDAN CLARKSON-LOS ANGELES LAKERS
(RESTRICTED)
SG (15-20), PG (18-24)
6-5/194
AGE: 24
2 year games played average: 69.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with LAL

C (17-25)
6-10/255
AGE: 24 in August
3 year games played average: 74.3

Between Tyson Chandler's 4 year/52 million and Tristan Thompson's 5 year/82 million

He is basically Biyombo but two years older and comes with some injury risk.
25. EVAN TURNER-BOSTON CELTICS
SG (14-20), SF (16-22)
6-7/225
AGE: 24
4 year games played average: 81.5

AGE: 27 in August
3 year games played average: 74.3
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with CHR
Market Value:
Seeking 4 year deal around 13-16 million average

C (11-16) when healthy
6-10/280

28. JR SMITH-CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
SG (15-20)
6-6/220
29. JOE JOHNSON-MIAMI HEAT
SF (16-21)
6-8/240
AGE: 31
4 year games played average: 80.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with MIA, OKC, GS, IND
Market Value:
Solid veteran wing, somewhere between Danny Green's 4 years 40 million and Andre Iguodala's 4 year/48 million, may take a smaller contract to play for a winner
Johnson is a good shooter and excellent passer for a SF. He would be an ideal fit in OKC (assuming they re-sign Durant) as a backup scorer. Other playoff teams will want him as well. Despite getting older is still one of the most durable players in the game due to his skill set not relying heavily in athletic ability.
30. JAMAL CRAWFORD-LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
SG (12-20) 6th Man of the year
6-5/199
AGE: 36
4 year games played average: 72.0

AGE: 29
3 year games played average: 75.0

PF (15-22)
6-9/250
AGE: 36 in August
3 year games played average: 74.6
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with IND, NY
Market Value:
Good veteran power forward, Zach Randolph 2 years/20 million and Dirk Nowitzki 3 years/25 million, like Z-Bo and Dirk
West is an excellent mid-range shooter and one of the toughest players in the league. He took less money to compete for a title with the Spurs. Expect him to sign a two year deal with a playoff team, He should be able to nake up for the 12 million he gave up last year.
33. ARRON AFFLALO-PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS
SG (21-26)
6-5/215
AGE: 30

Solid veteran wing, somewhere between Danny Green's 4 years 40 million and Andre Iguodala's 4 year/48 million

AGE: 30
3 year games played average: 78.3
Possible Destinations: NY, DAL, LAC

Possible Destinations: Re-sign with LAC, DAL, MIA, ORL
Market Value:
Solid veteran wing, somewhere between Danny Green's 4 years 40 million and Andre Iguodala's 4 year/48 million
After having open-heart surgery in 2011, Green has been one of the most durable players in the league. He didn't make the impact the Clipper were hoping he wuld make after they trade for him at the deadline. He may sign a one year prove it contract this year then try to get a bigger deal in 2017.
36. DERON WILLIAMS-DALLAS MAVERICKS
PG (17-22)
6-3/200
AGE: 32
3 year games played average: 65.6
Possible Destinations: SA, CLV, LAC, Re-sign with DAL
Market Value:
Solid/average point guard, somewhere between Jrue Holiday's 4 year/41 million and Ricky Rubio's 4 year/55 million
Williams was an All Star early in his career but now would be better served as a high end backup on a contender. He's made over 115 million in his career so taking less money for a contender may not be that crazy.

Possible Destinations: Re-sign with DAL
Market Value:
Role playing defensive center, around Andrew Bogut's 3 years/36 million
He fit really well in Dallas. If he wants to stay in Dallas he will need to wait it out as he is the 4th priority among free agents in Dallas. He is a physical defensive big man that can frustrate the other team's star. This guy loves doing the dirty work.
39. IAN MAHINMI-INDIANA PACERS
C (26-30)
6-11/250
AGE: 30 in November
3 year games played average: 69.6

6-9/240
AGE: 36
3 year games played average: 80.25

Low end starting PF around 8 million
Scola is always undervalued and underappreciated. The aging vet started every game at the four in the regular season for the Raptors. His veteran leadership went a long way in the locker room for a relatively young team.

PF (6-10)
7-0/245
AGE: 38
3 year games played average: 77.3
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with DAL, GS

2 year deal at around 15-18 million per
The greatest European player in NBA history may have two years left. Does he stay in Dallas or help the Warriors get another title?
15. PAU GASOL-CHICAGO BULLS

AGE: 36 in July
3 year games played average: 70.0
Possible Destinations: DAL, SA, MIA, GS, NY

Pau is still one of the better big men in the NBA. His skill set and veteran leadership will make him an attractive player for contenders needing a big man
16. RAJON RONDO-SACRAMENTO KINGS
PG (11-16)
6-1/186
AGE: 30
3 year games played average: 70.0
Possible Destinations: BRK, CHI, Re-sign with SAC
Market Value:
Third tier point guard, Reggie Jackson, 16 million per season
He took a one year 'prove it' deal with Sacramento last year and proved that he is still one of the most versatile players in the league.
17. JOAKIM NOAH-CHICAGO BULLS
C (5-15) when healthy
7-0/232
AGE: 30
3 year games played average: 60.5
Possible Destinations: NY, MIA, ATL
Market Value:
2 year deal at around 15-18 million per
Noah's defense, passing ability, high basketball IQ and overall hustle make him a great piece on any team. The question remains, can he stay healthy? The native New Yorker may look to join Derrick Rose in the big apple.
18. LUOL DENG-MIAMI HEAT
SF (6-13)
6-9/220
AGE: 31
4 year games played average: 71.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with MIA, DAL, GS, MEM, NO
Market Value:
2 year deal at around 15-18 million per
Deng is a great locker room guy that can still defend both forward spots. He should provide a cheaper alternative to teams that miss out on Batum, Parsons and Barnes. Why pay 20 million on a four year deal for those guys if you can get Deng for two years at 16 million per season?
Tier 4:
Good role players under 30
19. RYAN ANDERSON-NEW ORLEANS PELICANS
PF (11-18)
6-10/240
AGE: 28
2 year games played average: 63.5
Possible Destinations: SAC, WAS, POR, HOU. MEM, DET, LAL
Market Value:
Between 17-20 million
A lights out shooter with good size in a NBA that values shooting and length. Anderson would be a perfect fit in his hometown of Sacramento playing with a big like DeMarcus Cousins. Any playoff team looking for a shooter would fit as well.
20. EVAN FOURNIER-ORLANDO MAGIC

SG (11-14)
6-7/205
AGE: 23
3 year games played average: 71.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with ORL

Great 3 point shooter with a high IQ and a team attitude. The Magic traded Victor Oladipo to OKC because they know Fournier is the better fit as their starting two guard.
21. KENT BAZEMORE-ATLANTA HAWKS

AGE: 27 on July 1st (Happy Birthday $$$$$$)

Possible Destinations: Re-sign with ATL, MEM, BRK, NY, MIL
Market Value:
Between 15-18 million
Broke out big time last year in Atlanta as their defensive specialist and #4 scoring option. He filled the void left by DeMarre Carroll's departure. The Hawks will need to pay a lot to keep him.
22. JORDAN CLARKSON-LOS ANGELES LAKERS
SG (15-20), PG (18-24)
6-5/194
AGE: 24
2 year games played average: 69.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with LAL
Market Value:
Seeking 4 year deal around 14-18 million average
Very good young player, is he a better at the point or at the two guard? The Lakers like him and will likely match any offer he receives.
23. BISMACK BIYOMBO-TORONTO RAPTORS

Market Value:
Rim protector and high energy center
Between Tyson Chandler's 4 year/52 million and Tristan Thompson's 5 year/82 million
Between 13-16.4 million per season
Biyombo made a lot of money for himself this post season as he really outplayed Tristan Thompson in the Cleveland series.

Versatile player with good length that can play both the two and the three. He can also run a the offense in a second unit like he did last year in Boston. A very durable guy that has only missed 2 games in the past four season.

AGE: 27 in August
3 year games played average: 74.3
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with CHR
Market Value:
Seeking 4 year deal around 13-16 million average
He played very well in Charlotte last year. He is a low end starting point guard that is much better in a role as a backup combo guard. He is looking for a long term deal
Tier 5: Good role players that are 30 and over
27. AL JEFFERSON-HARLOTTE HORNETS
6-10/280
AGE: 31
4 year games played average: 65.75
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with CHR, POR, MIL, NO, NY, BOS

Market Value:
Solid shooting guard, somewhere between Alec Burks' 4 years 41 million and Andre Iguodala's 4 year/48 million
He takes horrible shots and makes incredible shots. Now he is a NBA champion. I just hope he wears a shirt when he is at he free agent meeting.

Market Value:
Solid veteran wing, somewhere between Danny Green's 4 years 40 million and Andre Iguodala's 4 year/48 million
The three time 6th Man of the year is going to get plenty of interest from playoff teams seeking a scorer off the bench.

AGE: 29
3 year games played average: 75.0
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with CHR
Market Value:
Good veteran power forward, between Taj Gibson's 4 years 33 million and Serge Ibaka's 4 year/49 million
Prototypical stretch four had his best year since 2012. Charlotte appears to be the perfect fit for him .
32. DAVID WEST-SAN ANTONIO SPURS
PF (15-22)

Possible Destinations: Re-sign with IND, NY
Market Value:
Good veteran power forward, Zach Randolph 2 years/20 million and Dirk Nowitzki 3 years/25 million, like Z-Bo and Dirk
West is an excellent mid-range shooter and one of the toughest players in the league. He took less money to compete for a title with the Spurs. Expect him to sign a two year deal with a playoff team, He should be able to nake up for the 12 million he gave up last year.
33. ARRON AFFLALO-PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS
SG (21-26)

Market Value:
Solid veteran wing, somewhere between Danny Green's 4 years 40 million and Andre Iguodala's 4 year/48 million
Solid #4/5 scorer, was solid but but not anything special in New York last year. He is a low end starting SG that may be better as a high end backup.

SG (21-26)
6-5/200
AGE: 30
3 year games played average: 78.3
Possible Destinations: NY, DAL, LAC
Market Value:
Solid veteran wing, somewhere between Danny Green's 4 years 40 million and Andre Iguodala's 4 year/48 million
Journeyman that was traded his sixth team when the Grizzlies dealt him to Charlotte. He is pretty much the same player as Afflalo.

37. JARED DUDLEY-WASHINGTON WIZARDS
SF, PF, SG 6-7/225
AGE: 31 in July
3 year games played average: 75.6
Possible Destinations: Re-sign with WAS,

May take Vet minimum to help a contender, may want at least 6 million to stay with Washington.
He can play and guard three positions and is among the best percentage shooters in the league. THose that understand the game of basketball know just how important Dudley's impact on the game is.

Market Value:
Low end starting PF around 8 million
Scola is always undervalued and underappreciated. The aging vet started every game at the four in the regular season for the Raptors. His veteran leadership went a long way in the locker room for a relatively young team.
Tier 6: Restricted role players that are better as backups than starters,
Market Value:
Most should get contracts around the Mid Level Exception which should be around 8 million.
